Seriously. When I realized that he can be at peace with everything he went through, I can be at peace with my struggles too and start brand new. He's an idol to me for overcoming adversity. It's one of the three songs I cry to. I was literally crying this morning out of joy to live another day as I was listening to this. I truly appreciate my second chance in life and Budden pretty much was the voice of what I went through and how I overcame it all

I accidentally stumbled upon this song, and am really glad I did. I remember liking Joe's hit song many years ago, but this is the type of music I like to hear as a very grown woman. It's impeccably written and passionately delivered, which is more than I can say for most of today's rap music - but even more than that, it's so honest. I don't think I'd ever heard a rapper so transparent and vulnerable in a song. Kudos to Joe Budden - it takes a lot of courage to expose the truth of who you really are to the world. I admire that...and, I think I have a new crush 😍!

this gave me tears. never really heard this song before. It makes me sad when a man doesnt have a relationship with their kids. I see my father and how much he really needed his father in his life. Its like a void he has...Im sure if he had his father in his life, he would have done much more in his life. I have a 2 yro son and jeez hes the greatest thing in my life. I dont know how certain people choose to not be in their kids life.

"You don't know what you got until it's gone." A lot us us took Joe for granted when he was still making music. Atleast I did. The one hit wonder who made "pump it up, couldnt be further from the truth. His music deserved more respect for sure. Instead, we have six9 and pump haha. He gets a lot of criticism for not being able to make a song, but his shit is fire. Beats and all. And you get a 5 minute song with real life lyrics we can all relate too. I wish the industry was filled with more music like this. Gucci gang Gucci gang Gucci gang 😆
