I think Joe is a catch 22 because what makes joe so entertaining is his personality, but it’s because of his personality that makes it hard for others to work with him
@1Leggo9my9Eggo23 жыл бұрын
Yeah he’s a walking contradiction, what makes you like joe at first, will make you eventually dislike him also. I have had friends similar to him before, and they would literally make friends with people and those same people would end up hating them several months later. They need a constant change of environment otherwise things burn around them. Joe is a train wreck waiting to happen as he pushes the self destruct button because he’s upset, then regrets it after the fact but doesn’t admit it.

Probably a certain amount of distraction from each other and unity against common enemies. The naysayers, and Spotify specifically. But once they became a big dawg in the industry with those entities beneath them, it becomes harder to ignore the very abundant flaws that they have, especially Joe's. Mix in financials and, if I remember correctly, Rory having a rough break up with this fiance, and shit gets spicey until it finally just reached the fever pitch that it did.

I don't like subliminals, and being passive aggressive. Anyone reading this, If someone is passive aggressive to you, you stop smiling, STOP nervous laughing look into his eye and face him with your knee pointing his direction( because that says I'm not afraid of addressing you ). you start of with 'Listen here" assertively and express how your feeling about this situation and also explain how from now on YOU and that person WILL ether communicate respectfully or will not have a friendship anymore, and you need to come to a resolution right then and there. As much as I wanna give Joe the benefit of the doubt (since I don't know the WHOLE story) I still can't. It's obvious to me that he's wrong. Whether or not why he's wrong is bcuz of accounting or contracts or simply not keeping it all the way a buck w/ Rory & Mal doesn't really matter. If he wants to play the "boss" role after acting like a partner for years then he needs to resolve this shit way before it ever gets this bad. Idk man.. I fuck wit Joe but Rory and Mal ain't just trippin & leaving possibly one of the most lucrative pods if not on the way to being that for no reason! I wish they coulda patched it up but Joe too stubborn/egotistical/blinded by his own BULLSHIT to see he fucked this all the way up. That pod will NEVER restore that feeling. I hope they all do well. Big shouts to Rory and Mal 2 episodes in and I already see how much lighter the energy is! They can only go UP!💯💯
@metaLungiez3 жыл бұрын
Joe admitted that he was wrong how he handled it, he got defensive when they started asking for accounting because he thought they were accusing him of stealing (which they were), in his mind it was "if I'm paying you well and you trust me, why do you need to see the accounting"? Rory initially said it was just about principles, as profit partners it was their right to see the accounting, but then they started accusing him over a missing $400K. Mal's problem is that he felt disrespected when Joe told him he was an employee and to mind his business. I think all of them handled themselves poorly to different extents, but it's funny how Rory gets a pass for all the tension he's caused since the Spotify deal and Mal bandwagoned on Rory's beef, even though Joe fed and housed this nigga for a decade.
