Happy Thursday, Joe has proven to be a workhorse. Hopefully, Joe gets to 100% way before the season starts and has lighter reps during training. He is the engine to the machine. He NEEDS to be and STAY healthy. Him being on the sidelines last year will only help him when it comes to recognizing defensive schemes. He now has a different perspective. GO BENGALS!!!

I'm much more optimistic about this season than I was last season. The secondary should be fixed. The oline should be solid. They need to load up the trenches in the draft and protect burrow!

My vote for pick 18 is Newton or Murphy. Not necessarily in that order. If they were both available at 18 I would take Newton and if only Murphy was available I’d take Murphy. Murphy is 6’1’’ 308 and Newton is 6’2’’ 300. They both have Geno Atkins kind of bodies. They both can get under these tall Ass linemen’s pads and take Their ass for a ride. I think right now Murphy is stronger but Newton could certainly improve his strength in an NFL weight room with trainers and nutrition management.

And I hate to break it to you guys but Terrion Arnold is not even a 1st round pick. His teammate Kool Aid is a late 1st round pick. Terrion Arnold will have to play nickel CB in the NFL. He doesn’t have the speed to play outside. Not even close. Don’t believe me? Watch Chris Simms top 5 CBs. Chris knows what he is talking about and analyzes these guys very closely. Arnold and Kool Aid made his himerable mention list. He has Quinyon Mitchell as the best in this draft class. And it’s not even close he said. He said if Mitchell played for LSU or Texas he would be a top 5 pick. But the thing is guys we have needs FAR greater than CB on our roster. It would be ridiculous if we drafted an edge or a CB in the top 3 rounds.

I would love to have Mitchel. But we have e 2 young starting CBs on our team. We just spent the 60th pick on them in the last 2 years. Yea we need a veteran CB who can backup These guys. Say you draft Mitchell. Who are you benching? Turner or CTB? They can’t all 3 play 2 positions. This is the same reason I don’t like Stone and Bell on this team. We have 2 young starting safety’s. Although nickel CB is Dax’s best position.

We've got to start drafting offense in early rounds, we've been going defense last few years. Our offense players contracts are coming up soon, over half our olineman contracts will be up in next two years, Tees contract is up and Chase is coming too. So we need to get some cheaper talent on offense so the offense doesn't fall apart in two years

The primary target at pick 18 should be 1. Johnny Newton 2. Byron Murphy. Those two guys are interchangeable as far as I’m concerned.
