Who got the ball?! Back in 1992, the Blue Jays sealed their first ever World Series Championship on a 1-3 put out, with Pitcher Mike Timlin firing the throw to First Baseman Joe Carter. Both men re-live their moment of glory!

1993 was it's got goosebumps. , but 1992 was the first step, and 1992 was the best moment.

I still remember me and my friends at the Skydome watching it on the jumbotron then running down to the field and celebrating with everyone and taking a piece of history. The rest was history.

I was 16 and at my best friend's house that night with about 20 other people watching game six. Top of the 11th inning, Winfield hits the double down the left field line that scored White and Alomar and we were all shouting and going crazy. Then the Braves score one in the bottom of the 11th to make it 4-3 and we were all anxious and nervous, again. Then Nixon bunts the ball, Timlin fields it cleanly and throws to Carter for the out and we all exploded with joy and happiness. Since my friends apartment was one block away from Yonge Street, we all walked there and headed south. The sea of humanity in downtown that night was incredible. And one year later, we did it all over again. Priceless memories.

1991 - Walk-off Single RBI to clinch the AL East 1992 - First home run hit by a Canadian team in the World Series, first World Series home run in Canada, catches final out. 1993 - Catches final out of the ALCS, and the greatest home run of all time. 10+ Seasons of 30 HRs, 100 RBI. Pitchers and fans alike feared him coming to the plate in his heyday. How he gets snubbed for a plaque in Cooperstown is beyond my understanding, but his Walkoff HR lives forever in the Hall. Damn, were we lucky to have this guy.

@@LexTan World Series record for: "Most SF (got one earlier in game six of '93, ironically)." Also hit all his HR of LHP in World Series (Glavine, Avery, Mulholland, Williams,) Futhermore, first man to hit WS HR outside of Canada.

It's simply incredible Carter is the last one to make contact with the ball in both back to back WS wins first in the glove the second off his bat into the seats😊

Remember like it was yesterday. Best Jays team ever obviously because they won back to back World Series

The 1985 Jays were pretty damn good, too. That "wind-assisted" triple by KC's Sundberg did 'em in (Brett was also devastating against the Jays). The Jays would have smoked the Cardinals in the WS that year, but we'll never know, now. Cheers!

I think Mike Timlin has the most WS rings in history (4) without doing it as a Yankee. ‘92, ‘93, ‘04, ‘07. He was like, give me the ball Joe, you’ll get your walk off next year.

Just turned 19 year old!! And man that extra inning felt like the longest time of my life. The very next year I got my pictures taken with both world series trophy's! All that's left now after the Raptors winning is my Leafs winning the Cup!

Since 1979 only two teams have won back-to-back World Series Championships: the Toronto Blue Jays in 1992-1993 and the New York Yankees in 1998, 1999, and 2000. And there's no chance of a repeat winner in 2024.

Thing is, A LOT could have gone wrong with that final out, with THE WORLD SERIES LITERALLY ON THE LINE. Any little thing that you would get 99.9% out of 100 could be botched. (Ask Buckner for example, lol)
