I was genuinely blown away at an Anastacia concert in 2004. Amazing, WHAT a singer & great songs. Went to her mixed show 'Here Come The Girls' in 2010 with Heather Small & Lulu. Then Anastacia in 2016. Despite having recovered form two bouts of breast cancer before the '04 & '16 concerts, Anastacia was INCREDIBLE live! Uses a lot of improv, no miming!

@mikeuher50544 жыл бұрын
He sang the wrong words at 2:00
@mrbee4life182 Жыл бұрын
Yeah i agree and he must have felt a bit intimidated by Joe as it was his baby he had the killer voice and knew how to sing it and was a master of the ballads because when Pellow and the other Wets recorded their version for Children In Need it was more upbeat and playful but further down the line he had a richer more powerful voice and nailed those ballads with Wet Wet Wet like Love Is All Around Goodnight Girl etc he was trying too hard here and ended up shouting and also singing out of tune it was painful to listen to

Don’t know the other guy, I guess his name is Marti Pellow, but he’s trying way too hard. Joe Cocker is great, Pellow comes across as a lightweight

The real reason they duetted here was because you all seem to have forgotten that Wet Wet Wet did a version of Joe Cockers song for Children In Need so he probably asked to sing with pellow but could've sung half the song with Joe Cocker singing his version then Marti taking over with his version which i think would have worked better!
@barrymitchell6444 Жыл бұрын
No. The real reason they duetted was Joe Cocker was down to sing it alone. But Wet tosser Pellow kicked up about it, demanding to also sing it, and caused a bad atmosphere.

Who in the world made the big time bad decision of letting Marti sing this tune with Joe Cocker with this arrangement??? That person must have been out of his/her mind at that time. Did his father or some close relative work within the production?? He ruins the entire performance with absolutely zero feeling and timing what so ever!!! My friend reminded me of this horrible performance today, had totally repressed it. It's clearly here that he's a wannabe...he thinks he can nail it when he get to play with the big boys but he does everything but nails it. After he made a fool of himself i guess the big boys weren't so intrested in working with him. Regardless who let him sing surely must have regretted it when heariing. No one but Joe Cocker is allowed to sing this arrangement and since he's gone well stick with Ringo's version.

This was not a Wet Wet Wet or Marti Pellow concert, wasn't a Joe Cocker concert. It was everyone coming together for what I assume was a bit of fun at the end. Marti Pellow IS one of the "big boys" you fool! He's had MASSIVE success both with the band and on his own. Was he massively buzzed here and not delivering a flawless vocal?
