When he first came to Nashville, he got a day job working at Gibson Guitar, my father and brother also worked there, my brother said at break and lunch Joe would grab a guitar and sing, and needless to say he always drew a crowd. Joe Diffie, Keith Whitley and Merle Haggard are the best and had unique voices that will never be duplicated.

Check out the night at the opry with travis Tritt , Waylon,& Steve Warner. Joe was Singing Harmonies to everyone's songs! It was an awsome gathering of some really great country music by some great country singers, songwriters & vocalists! Thanks to the internet, none of them will ever be but a click away. I know it's not the same to friends and loved ones, but it can also ease some of the pain of losing them when they want to see or hear them. I wish I could click and see my folks again on the internet, but they passed long before the internet. It's a small positive. It will never be the same, but it sure is sweet to hear them sing. Then it gets me singing all of those great songs from Waylon, who I used to bounce up and down on my parents bed when I was a kid and listen to Ramblin Man! And JoeD.,The Songs just make me smile and sing along,Every time I hear them. Great Music is Eternal and Both of these Men along with all of the wonderful treasures they wrote & sang will be there. It sure is better than before technology in that respect. When Your Love Lives on, Then The Ones We Love Are Alive & Well in Our Heart! Jesus Is Lord! We Will See Them Again
