I'm listening - God, we were awful eejits. We used to go to the Olympia Showroom in Waterford and drool over the band. I think we used to pay 2.6 to get in. All the men were lined up on the right side of the room and the women on the other side. I remember one night we were there when this fella came over and asked a woman to dance. The conversation went something like this: "do you want to dance" . Her response was; I can't Murt, I have corns on me legs". To which he responded "A pity they're not on your feckin' arse". This was in Waterford in the early 60's. The priests used to damn us. Rockin' roll was the devil's work. Does anyone remember those days? I'd love to hear from other people.
