when Joe wasn't in camp training for an upcoming fight, he'd be touring with his band, and he had that soulful voice, I enjoy listening to him. R.I.P

Until today I didn't know that Joe Frazier was a singer, too. And to those who deny it (and who start to laugh about it): has anyone of you gone to stage once, and sang out loud in front of a bigger audience, as he did? And I am NOT talking about Karaoke shows....! Of course he is not a professional singer ... but having been a member of a Gospel choir for many years, with two pro singers in the lead, I can say they also were not always perfect. Joe should have had some more singing lessons, to manage his very warm and soft soul voice a little bit better, that is all. And, I am convinced that all the time he invested in his musical performances, saved him from getting pugilistic or boxer's dementia. Sorry to say that this straightly, I am not such a big fan of boxing, although I have a enough respect of the athletic performance. R.I.P. both, Joe and Ali.

I had always heard a second or so of Frazier singing here and there on like documentaries about Ali and Frazier.....but nothing serious and i have to admit because of that i never wanted to hear anymore music from him............but WOW this shows me how much of a mule i was!

Boxers nowadays could never bring themselves to do something like this. Especially not a #1 champion anyways, their ego's are too big! And they can not back it up either. They wouldnt survive back in the olden days of boxing not when its down in a slump like now.. but it will be back.

After reading the story of this boxing legend's life, I came to YT wanting to hear him sing. His story made me look back at my past life and think "If only I had been exposed to....maybe met and befriended Joe Frazier I might have pursued those things I was once good at, like singing, boxing and martial arts." I'd have been 13 when he beat arrogant Ali. Guess I'll have to stick to preaching, writing a bit and training animals since I'm too old for the former things.
@Ffeoli103911 ай бұрын
After seeing how many obstacles he had to get through to achieve what he achieved is truly inspiring. As a young, poor boy, living in the racist south of America, he told his family he was gonna be the champ one day. He left at 13 alone and with absolutely nothing to live a better life. One of the greatest life stories that's in history.

I wonder how this man used to jungle & practice being a dangerous Boxer & a soft vocalist singer concurrently, I personally believe if Joe Frazier had solely focused on Boxing he would have made more history than Muhammed Ali.

You are so right in my eyes Ali was a jerk all he did was talk shit .hard to respect someone who cant say anything but disrespectful things . talk about the pot calling the kettle black .thats Ali
@Duplotopf2 жыл бұрын
@@jonhaynes5505 bruh, he fought for his civil rights. Ali don't talk shit, that was trash talk. Ali excused by Frazier. Frazier hates Ali for along time, althoug Ali apologized to him. Frazier batted God for help to killing him. Ali helped million african american. Frazier raved the racism in the 60s and 70s.

"Joe Frazier can sing"- Muhammad Ali LOL.... And people say that Ali was so mean to Frazier. But if that statement by Ali isn't a case of extreme kindness and generosity, what is?
@jonhaynes55055 жыл бұрын
HE was a jerk to the champ all that crap he called Joe was uncalled for. I. know it would sure piss me off if someone called me those things .its hard to respect someone that talks down to people like he did
@lwmson5 жыл бұрын
Some people believed that Muhammad Ali "mistreated" Joe Frazier. But when he says here that Joe can sing, well, it showed how magnanimous he was. Joe with all due respect was a great fighter, good guy, but Marvin Gaye he was not. Oh well, no one can be a world champion at everything. RIP Joe and Muhammad.
