They're joking about their chemistry, but that really is a main reason why this series was so successful. The chemistry was freaking amazing! So real and heartfelt! I'm a 55 year old gay guy who LOVES this series because it's what I wish I had when I was that age, but of course never could in the 1980s. Back then we were hated and blamed for AIDS. This series is BEAUTIFUL and I love it!
