Ye but u got to look at the opposition he fights too, I mean the only guy worth mentioning he beat izs Dubois, who is still a young prospect too. Takam isn't that good either, not a big & powerful heavyweight. Think Joyce will hit his limit when he fights a top tier heavyweight, or a real talent like Frank Sanchez or so.

Takam is actually really tricky opposition.... it was an early stoppage tonight (probably too early, but he was getting slammed)- and against AJ it was an early stoppage... chisora struck gold... (I am chisora’s biggest fan- he is a total hero)... that was the beginning of war chisora... before that, chisora was just the roughneck raw fighter I always backed.... and now he’s the man... my fav heavyweight... will do what ever it takes when ever... and will leave it all in the ring.... he’s lost 9 fights.... but he is in my top 3 favourite heavyweights... because he is genuine and literally not afraid of anyone or an entourage..... in fact- him and dillian whyte--- my favourite heavyweights..... their fights show it all..... those boys are not afraid of anything. #derekchisora #dillianwhyte #heavyweightboxing #wbc #no3

I reckon he definitely would be a match. Remember they’ve sparred countless rounds and Joyce is calling him out. Also - Joyce has a great knack of punching around the guard and targeting the temples which was AJ’s undoing v Ruiz. He’s got a better engine than AJ too and is relentless. If he got through the first 3 rounds v AJ it would be very close. I agree with the comments though - he can’t be taking punches like that against AJ. Let’s see how it all plays out.

this comment is embarrassing, only reason takam didn’t go down is because he doesn’t want to lose the round 10-8, if the ref used his brain cells he would have given takam a standing 8 count

@@keiranheywood do u know what this fight was for? I know the major governing bodies don’t allow a standing 8 in title fights but I don’t know if it also counts for fringe belts and stuff. It was on Takam to take a knee I think

What an incredible ability to block punches with his face Joyce has.

Against Fury, yeah….but Joshua? Not so sure…..AJ is thin around the whiskers and if Joe catches him with something silly, it’s AJ-Ruiz (one) all over again.

If Takam had a bit more power he could have knocked JJ out as defence lacking.

That was a premature stoppage. I'm with Chisora on this one. Takam would have survived the round.
