Shawn Ryan, shame on you for promoting gold as a viable refuge for financial security when the fact of the matter is that gold is a complete sucker bet, in that gold is currently being used as the medium for one of the greatest sting operations ever having been carried out that will end in no telling how many Americans losing huge sums of money due to their investment in gold, at the recommendation of people like you who are greatly trusted which is to say that you too are being played, in this regard. The ultimate crash in the price of gold will no doubt occur when the truth is revealed about the fact that we do not actually have a real national debt, only a pretend national debt which is really nothing more than our irrelevant federal deficit, as far as the amount whereas exactly what we the peoples' electronically generated $s (which is the key) are being spent on is the real issue. When this truth can no longer be hidden in plain sight, then gold will hit the skids, so to speak. We're talking about gold crashing to maybe as low as $20 per troy ounce, and then settling in, after the dust settles, at about $40 to maybe as much as $80 per troy ounce which is the reasonable fair price for gold. Think about it, gold's current primary usage globally is for the primitive, heathenistic, barbaric tradition of body ornamentation..., jewelry which usage in no way justifies the current cost of gold. Once the psychological crutch, the myth of gold being a viable financial/economic refuge in times of financial and/or economic difficulties is removed, what do you have left? The answer is that you have an embarrassing pile of a shiny, mostly useless, yellow metal commodity. More details are available, if you're interested.

@@joshf3861 why spend all that money on a proxy war which ukraine will lose eventually anyway, over supporting your own people at home who desperately need it. What is the importance of ukraine really? Russia physically cant invade any other european countries after ukraine so whats the fear?
@joshf386110 күн бұрын
@@dfhdff1. what makes you think Ukraine will lose eventually? The Soviets in Afghanistan were much better positioned financially, militarily and in strength of leadership than Russia today. If America wants Ukraine to exist, and is willing to back them with the full might of NATO, there’s not a fucking thing Russia could do about it except die in droves. 2. Spending money on domestic projects vs. Ukraine is not a zero sum game. I find it funny to hear conservatives use that talking point while shilling for Russian interest while fighting tooth and nail again any domestic expenditure. The U.S. can easily afford to do both. How about we ask the Republicans to pass a I comprehensive infrastructure bill to prove they want to spend the money at home. It’ll never happen. It’s a lie. And this of course ignores the truth of the matter that money “spent” in Ukraine isn’t really money being spent. We are sending them our old stockpiles which need to be replenished. Replenishing them also spurs American industry. So does they credit we extend them which gets spent for US companies to provide them munitions. Very little of the aide we send Ukraine is actually cash. Finally, there’s the matter of the proliferation of western liberalism over Russian influence. Russia has been a thorn in the side of the west for too long now. There is no “fear” of Russia as a military power. The “fear” of Russia comes from its demonstrated ability to bribe and blackmail its way into influence the west as well as the ease with which too many morons in the west lap up their propaganda. They are a thorn in the side of peace and decency. To put it simply I wish to live in a world where Russia is incapable of having influence outside its borders. And if I can’t have that, the next best thing is a world where Russian Orcs die in droves. Give me one or the other, but those of us with European heritage know that Russia belongs on its heels, not in our borders. Americans used to have brains to know it and by spines to ensure it. To watch them cower now to that paper tiger of a country is sickening.

I, too am from portland. I am So glad to see a conservative voice from the PNW! I preach to my kids that they have no room to complain unless they are willing to do the job. As a conservative, a retired nurse and business owner I have wrestled with the need to involve myself in change as well!

You couldn’t find a better man to represent Washington (or any state for that matter) Joe Kent is the real deal. I’ve followed Joe for years now and he is the type of man that should be in the White House someday. This guy is no BS. Thanks for having him on, everyone should know this man.

OMG this guy is my idol. I love his strength, values and beliefs! I was born and raised in Washington state and moved to Arizona 10 years ago. I don't even recognize Washington anymore and I fell in love with arizona. I still have so much family there though so I hope you are able to make a difference. Washington has gone downhill so much and I pray you are able to help be a part of fixing it!

Shawn, this episode sent me all over the board. You did an amazing job having Mr. Kent on to tell his story and share his insight. I’m a simple blue collar midwesterner, I share every emotion you have with the government and the way this country’s direction is moving. As a common person I feel like I need to participate in a change, but like many others I know, how do we achieve a u-turn? Thanks man for the content, keep up the good work!

Joe Kent, one of us, a very down to earth common freaking sense American hero running for office out there in the crazy states. Good luck Joe! I will support you wherever you go. Great interview by Shawn. I think about a question as I’m watching the interview and I’ll be damned if it’s not the next question he asks.

I live in his district and we have Democrats counting our mail in ballots. That’s the only explanation why we have a liberal Democrat representing a mostly conservative part of Washington state.

@johncamp76792 ай бұрын
@@kennyr1968 it’s shameful what has happened to our voting system. We’re definitely not united, we are 2 groups basically. My grandmother told me you’re not supposed to say who you voted for, that was your business. I think around bill Clinton’s time when he used MTV to get the younger voters is when people started to voice who they were voting for. We have to have an honest system, but machines can be programmed and people are biased.

@@johncamp7679there is no doubt the last election there was major fraud.I personally know a man that mail in voted and his vote was returned for no apparent reason and not counted..Trump won nc anyways but still that's fraud..

I'm in Oregon so I couldn't bur would see his commercials. I would've voted for him on just being the Republican candidate but I thought he looked like kind of a joke. I am blown away. I will be donating to his campaign and doing my best to spread the word to the people I know in his district. And I will be buying a yard sign even though I'm not in his district.

Google Shannon Kent. She was a rockstar in the Navy/military, especially in her line of work/specialty. Seeing the list of languages that she spoke, you can see why she was in high demand and where she was at the time. Another true hero. Thank you Shannon and Joe for your Service.

Unfortunately the dollar would lose all its value in the world of we didn't give it away. The yen would quickly move in or some other Denomination
@henrychen8779Ай бұрын
@@j_rainsgoat3929 this is simply untrue The US dollar is a reserve currency for most countries. I.e, international futures/commodity markets are all using the dollar. Secondly, while I agree that our focus should be domestic, there are inherent realities in which we cant simply ignore our geopolitical issues. We dont give the dollar away, we issue treasury bonds which we've accumulated a lot of debt on. The strength of the dollar is tied to how consistent and robust our economy (and military posture). 70% of all securities in the world are parked in U.S. markets (wsj).

Finally listened to the interview while I was delivery driving (my 2nd job of 3 so that I can survive in this state and this country right now - nothing like being unemployed at 55 and having to fight ageism along with everything else these days). I've met Joe a couple of times now, living in Vancouver and his district, and find the town halls to be refreshing. One of our gubernatorial candidates did not make the cut and the Republican that did doesn't even know where Clark County is located, at least as far I can see. Hell, I didn't even know he was running until I saw a small sign sitting next to one of the roads one day. I long for the days when candidates actually went out to meet the people and bring their platform to them instead of just showing up on the ballot. I will vote for him because the Dem is a nightmare (we thought Inslee was bad.. pretty sure he was AG Fergusons lapdog). Joe goes out and meets people and is there to be available, at least to some degree. I can't remember the last time I saw town halls or had a politician knock on my door. That, along with his platform, has me backing him all the way.
