Everyone knows the legendary Joe Montana, but many probably don't know or remember he had a son named Nick who was supposed to be the next big QB in college football. Sadly, it never worked out at either Washington or Tulane for him so what happened? Today, we are going to talk about the rise & fall of Nick Montana, enjoy!

I would say the benefits far out way the challenges. Elite genetics, elite coaching from a young age from your father. The best equipment, training; and coaching money can buy. Access to the best schools and facilities. Tons and tons of connections to college and the pros. Infinite money. The kids who are pro players sons that don’t make it really just didn’t work hard enough because they have every single advantage working in their favor

Fun fact, in hs one of his WRs was one of Will Smiths sons. Another fun fact is that in one of the games for Tulane, he was featured on sport centers not top 10. He played in a game where he spiked the ball at the end of game not realizing it was 4th down and that's how that game ended.

I was huge college fan during that time and you never heard anything about him. I’m from Mississippi, I went to Miss State but my parents live in Oxford so I normally go to an Ole Miss game here and there. I saw him play agonist Ole Miss. I grew up a 49ers fan because I was a bam wagon ass little kid who loved Montana and Jerry Rice. I also grew up close to where Jerry was from and still to his day spends a lot of time. It was really cool to see a childhood idol’s kid play though.

From watching his brief stint at UW, what really surprised me is that his physical tools didn't stand out. He didn't have a very strong arm, and I recall his release being on the slow side. Obviously you can be a good college QB without top shelf physical skills, but it was pretty clear why Sarkisian stuck with Keith Price.

One thing that isnt talked about enough, is that VERY FEW NFL sons ever make it. One of the big reasons is their fathers dont generally marry female athletes, they marry the pretty homecoming queen type with limited athletic skills. Only when they DO have kids with an actually athlete (think Christian McCafferey, OBJ) do they actually have the DNA to make it in the NFL. Being half talented genetically doesn't cut it.

I was a freshmen playing as left tackle for morro bay highschool we were on a roll beating damn near every team in CIF then we went up against oaks christian, i left the locker room and saw actual doctors stretching all the players on oaks christian as they laid on their hospital beds, thats when I knew this shit was real. Every damn player on oaks christian were extremely tall and thin but i tell you the leveragr they had on us. If i remember correctly they shutout every single team they played against, we 110% without a doubt lost but i took pride in not being shutout 😂 at that time for that game the head coach for OC let joe montana cosch that game, i also remember seeing ashton Kutcher in the bleachers as well as some other "prominent figures" was an interesting moment in my life and it was extremely cool to go against a team like that. Correft me it im wrong but since they are a private school they can scout or "hire" other highschoolers snd invite thek to their school in return they play football for that team.(im not sure how I'd explain it better but i believe private schools can aquire thebbest of the best, like being able to attend the school due to your athletic ability in a specific sport so its kind of like a highschool scholarship?) Someone let me know, a few of my buddies from that class actuslly went to the NFL which I wasn't shocked by. My buddy jerome long retired happily from the nfl his story would make an incredible movie, everyone always talked shit on him in football because hebwas always thin but dude eas 6 foor 6 250 absolute muscle and he took their bullying as fuel for his fire. Anyways I got carried away, incredible memories

Anyone who thinks that being Famous is Cool should watch this video. Nick's fame came from his star Quarterback Dad Joe which made it even worse for Nick. Would Nick have EVER played Football if his Dad WASN'T Joe Montana ??? That's debatable. But I'm confident that he would've been a MUCH Better football player if his Dad wasn't the FAMOUS Joe Montana. From what I've seen of America in the last 74 years, being Famous really SUCKS because once you're FAMOUS your life is never really your own again.

Brady’s sons at least 1 will be a pro soccer or football player. Guaranteed. What the pats need to do is …tank. Get Marvin Harrison. Tank again. Get Travis Hunter then tank again & draft Arch manning in 2026. I can handle 3 more trash years as the Celtics win titles. But in 2026 you’re Main guys will be Marvin Harrison Jr Travis Hunter to pair with Christian Gonzalez Arch manning throwing to Harrison Jr. Pop Douglas. To mind fuk the league & make the mannings & Harrison HAVE to route for New England & have to go watch them in a patriot uniform. That’s how you’ll be good from 2026 till 2036 & get a few more rings. Get to 10-11 as an organization.
