I love how Joe worries he’ll never find a place that is comforting and a source of good in his life, and then the very next thought he has is about Sarah. The idea that his new place of comfort is right in front of his eyes, but he just hasn’t connected the dots fully is pretty brilliant to me.

This is one of those profoundly beautiful moments in television. That shot of Joe from behind with the domes lit up in the background is so great, especially with the music. The whole package just sells the idea that you know exactly what Joe is feeling and thinking at that moment, and how profoundly human it is to feel like that. But it doesn’t become overplayed or hit you over the head with anything, it’s just a perfect amount of touching.

This season of the show is probably my favorite season of any show i’ve ever watched. So many moments that just left me teary eyed, mouth open, Feeling so many different emotions at once. I don’t feel like a tosspot calling this show art, It has an effect on people like nothing else.

That look down and deep breath after he says "I don't know if I'll ever be able to find that again... Or if I'll ever feel alright again. I don't know." It's such a raw snippet. Joe just had such a great way of capturing the human experience

@@donnymcjonny6531 I agree. It’s a great way to show how grief affects any person, even someone who is as “bright side up” as Joe. The loss of a loved one is a hole that can’t closed but you can learn to live and remember with.
