I cannot thank this video enough, we adopted a dog with horrible separation anxiety and extreme trauma. She lets out barks that sound painful for hours unless she has someone in the room with her, she isn't potty trained so she currently has to sleep with blankets and pillows in the shower, she has been screaming and barking for 4 hours straight, no one is able to get any sleep. I remembered this video, sat with her while it played, turned the lights off, and left while Joe continued talking, and she has never been happier. She's out cold, and the whole house is at peace. Thank you.

To house train dog 🐶 keep on your wrist a 4 foot lead, or in kennel if not attached to you. Take her outside, when she wakes, when she potties outside, lots of encouragement + a treat. A bell attached to the door, teach her to hit the bell 🛎 when she needs to go out, treats, consistency, praise, & treats ♥ Within the first week, they're trained. Family must use the same words for commands, 5 min. sessions, 2× a day. Bonding while dog 🐶 learns ❤ I love that you played Joe Pera for your fur family member ❤ 😊 We beg our dog to sleep with us, she does, & we love her ❤ Makes me feel safe 😊

I had a close call and a subsequent week-long ‘cray-cation’ just ahead of Christmas, and it’s been a rough thing to come back from, to say the least. Some days are especially hard on my spirit, and I often ask myself ‘why am I even still here? What am I sticking around for, anyway?’ And the only answer my mind reliably latches onto feels similar to this exact video; everything and nothing. The ‘everything’ portion of it is fairly self-explanatory; there’s too much to experience (in both the mundane and the significant) that I don’t wanna miss out on. For example, there are ladybugs in my house right now, and one landed on my finger this morning while I was having my coffee. And my dog will die one day, and I don’t want him to embark on whatever journey that is without a proper send off from the person that loves him most. And as for the ’nothing’ side of it? All the reasons I had previously held onto for staying alive, I’ve realized are all pretty impermanent. But if I don’t have any concrete reason to stay, it’s really easy to flip that around to ‘no concrete reason to leave’, too. Maybe I’m just rambling, but I’m glad I’m still here to ramble, and I’m glad you’re still here to listen to Joe ramble, too. I’m glad you set your weapon down. Nobody should be allowed to harm you, not even yourself ❤

I hate meditation videos and I loathe the discomfort and disgust I get from ASMR, so jus finding a long video of a person giving me affirmation is difficult. This man is the only person I’m willing to listen to in this situation. He reminds me of my grandpas, or my dad.

There are plenty of male ASMR creators who do something very similar to this, this is quite literally ASMR so I'm not sure what you dislike about it since you like this. Y'all should do yourself a favor and find out who he is. Perhaps one of the best shows I've ever seen. The character development is truly amazing and it manages to teach important life lessons without being preachy. It's filled with so many wholesome "feel good moments" and it completely sucks you into the surreal world joe pera and open up your heart to all the characters. If you have the chance, get stoned and watch it before bed or on lazy melancholy day. It's so goddamn wholesome, it fuckn hurts. Also, fun little fact, "Joe pera" has stepped into a new form of method acting and he completely adopted the roll he created for the show. He never breaks character... Like ever

For those who are struggling to sleep, cherish these nights. When I was younger, with a lot of anxiety and a lot less things to do, I would wait until about 3 or 4 in the morning and I would allow myself to relax. It would be the only point in the day where it was too late or too early to worry about anything. My feelings weren’t so off the wall and I would be completely and utterly at peace. I found happiness even at the cost of my sleep. I was the real me at that time. Fast forward 10 years later at where I am now. I am busy, moderately successful, happy with my friend, family, fiancé, and most importantly I sleep fine. With all that said I miss the feelings I had during those sleepless nights. I miss feeling at peace. If this teaches you anything, it would be that the struggles don’t always last and one day you will appreciate them. Whether you needed this story to learn this or not, I hope you take a second to understand it. Goodnight

I add more water to my ice cube trays immediately after I use the last cube. I use to get angry when I'd go to the freezer for ice and there was none. It's pleasing not being unnecessarily frustrated because of your own laziness.
@JackF993 жыл бұрын
Wait a minute are you saying as soon as you use the last cube in the tray you fill the tray with water and return to the freezer? That's insane.
@ryanlawliss11403 жыл бұрын
I keep 3 trays in there. And I never take ANY 🧊 out without filling the missing tray spaces. Never know when you will need it lol

In a world full of complete chaos and hatred, this video brings peace and serenity and I’m beyond thankful for it. It makes me feel at ease.

Why is this so relaxing? I need someone in my life that just rambles to me when I'm stressed out.

“When Stephen Hawking cheated on his wife, she must’ve felt pretty sad. It was a terrible thing to do, and I don’t wanna defend him, but try thinking about it from his perspective for a moment. He spends all day thinking about the universe and how big it is; how our star, the sun, is just one of dozens of stars in the galaxy, which is just one of dozens of galaxies in the known universe, all set against handfuls and handfuls of time. If one guy cheats on his wife, what’s the big deal? Thinking further down the same line of thought however, if we’re so tiny and insignificant, if you’re able to find one person in the entire universe who cares about you, why would you want to disappoint them?”

Alexander Rojas why is this THE EXACT THING TJAT HAPPENED TO ME, I skip randomly to see if it’s really him talkin and check comments and as I read this comment I start hearing the exact lines, BRUHHH

I just skipped to that part of the video at the beginning
@carcar32124 жыл бұрын
I was thinking of this as I had skipped about a minute earlier. Read the comment, began visualizing the portion of the talk happening, then the segment ended and segued into the Stephen Hawking bit. Look into universal synchronicity those that see this. Connections are there even in absence.

I can't sleep because his house at the beginning of the show and the inside room window doesn't add up. The face of the house to the right has the light on. That side is facing other houses. But when we zoom into his home, the window shows the south end where the train tracks are. Maybe there are two windows? That'd be great but there's a big is garage in the way of where the train tracks would show. It doesn't add up!
