This was 17 minutes and 24 seconds of the most enjoyable guitar related content I've seen in a while. I've been watching a lot of demo videos of pedalboard builds this guy from LA Sound Design does. His ear is awesome. He's heard SO many guitars, amps, speakers, effects and his taste is impeccable. More interviews with people like this. Really, I'd love to have seen what's on his personal board!

Cool to see! I love it when anyone gives props to Neil Giraldo. He was one of my biggest influences for learning to play in my early teens. Many years ago, I was in line to see him & Pat at a small club. We were around the back of the building and there was Neil, out enjoying a smoke with a few other guys. I was too star struck to go over and say hi, I knew I would either act stupid or cry. I was listening to their music the other day at work and decided to go back and relearn all their songs.

Awesome vid Tim! I'm so happy to see Dave setting the Strymon Flint exactly as I do. This reverb, on the 80's mode, sounds like the EHX Holy Grail but with more respect for the amp tone. I use to plug this reverb in a Seymour Duncan Vapor Trail loop (insert cable). The Vapor Trail at 900ms, mix at 9 o'clock, into a series loop of an amp. I play ESP guitars (mahogany+seymour) in a mighty Dual Rectifier Rev D (pre500) to get some Gilmour under steroids sound. I can't play without now. This is the best reverb recipe I've found in 30 years of testing gear. It works with the Friedman BE100 and the Mesa MarkII JP-2C too. It's a bit too much for the Soldano SLO100, so I keep this one for the dry sound. As the Vapor Trail can go into parallel loops (just change the mix settings on the pedal), I tried with the Bogner Ecstasy, the Rectifier Rev G and the Diezel VH4. Vapor Trail + Flint = heaven ! I'd like to see you playing this, and having your feeling about. About custom pedalboards, congratulations to LA Sound Design. Here in Europe we have Steen Skrydstrup.
