I used to be a blasphemous hater of God just like these men until about the age of 25. I investigated the major world religions reading their holy books and saved the Bible for last. It's when I read the words of Jesus Christ in the gospels that the Holy Spirit give me faith to believe. That gift of God and his gift of salvation, forgiveness of my sins has kept me for over 40 years now. Pray for these men!

Our family had slipped away from following God/Jesus in any meaningful way. Then in 2019 our beautiful 19 year old daughter was diagnosed with serious cancer. We could just have blamed God for the situation, but instead we turned back to faith in Him. I can honestly say that it was only the peace of God/Jesus that brought us through the darkest year in our lives and those countless hours in hospital. Furthermore, nothing can convince me that prayer does not influence the physical world, as I have seen its impact with my own eyes. Our daughter is now 23 years and doing well. Put your faith and trust only in God/Jesus, not yourself nor any man.

That's great to know, but did you try the prayer without going to the doctors? Because I've seen many that didn't have the same luck and died, with prayers and all, people of faith. And I think I know what the answer will be: "It wasn't meant to be", "It was that person's time". Funny how many diseases that would be certain death 200 years ago are now easily cured by medicine, but yea....it's the prayer that saved them.

In the next 24 hours an additional 20,000 will die in the same horrible manner. These children have been dying like this for decades, millions of children have died millions more will continue to die. I've been told by christians that children are miracles provided by their god, I've also been told by christians that their god is omniscient, so if those two things were true your god created these miracles knowing that they would suffer each and every day of their lives and then die by the thousands every day. Your god if he existed could only be considered the most malevolent entity to ever exist.

@@willaimrobinson9383 What the Bible Actually IsActually, the Bible is the story of YOUR LIFE AND MY LIFE. It is the un-folding of the spiritual life of every man. As one grows in spiritual perception, he grows into a deeper understanding of the Bible. Each time he reads it, it contains a new and richer meaning. It is as if the pages come to life. What was once a gory battle becomes an allegory, giving the reader an insight into his own spiritual unfoldment. Jesus said that the enemies are all those of our own household. They are enemy thoughts of our own mental households which can be overcome by Truth. The Bible is the story of man’s journey from Paradise to Paradise. Along the way he meets all of the temptations and problems of everyday living. To quote from Judge Troward, a man with a deep understanding of the Bible: The Bible is the Book of the Emancipation of Man. The emancipation of man means his deliverance from sorrow and sickness, from poverty, struggle, and uncertainty, from ignorance and limitation, and finally from death itself. This may appear to be what the euphuistic colloquialism of the day would call “a tall order,” but nevertheless it is impossible to read the Bible with a mind unwrapped by antecedent conceptions derived from traditional interpretation without seeing that this is exactly what it promises, and that it pro- 12fesses to contain the secret whereby this happy condition of perfect liberty may be attained. The Bible, which literally means THE BOOK, contains sixty-six books which tell in allegory, prophecy, epistle, parable and poem, man’s generation, degeneration and regeneration. Over and over again, from every conceivable approach, we read of the experience of each one of us as he seeks to discover the Truth about himself and his relationship to Life. The first two chapters of Genesis (meaning the beginning) and the last two chapters of Revelation, the final book, tell of the will of God for man. In the beginning we find man created in the “image” and “likeness” of God and given dominion “. . . over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” In Revelation we again have the vision of that perfection which rightfully belongs to man. All the rest of the Bible is concerned with the journey of the soul back to its original awareness of perfection, man as a child of God. It is the story of the struggle of man who, cheated by the senses into thinking that satisfaction comes from without, struggles to exert his will against God, the infinite Goodness and Perfection within him. Story after story describes man’s voluntary journey into bondage, the thing that happens to man when he chooses to become established in a con-sciousness apart from God. It is the story of the prodigal son; it is the story of the children of Israel, leaving their own lands, going down into Egypt into bondage and their great desire to get back to the promised land. This story is repeated over and over, like the theme in a symphony, in many different set-tings and circumstances so that each one wandering in the wilderness of un-enlightened thought can find himself and his particular problem. Through it all the Love of God seeks to reconcile man to Himself. God speaks through the prophets and all those who have ears to hear, offering to reclaim rebellious man and restore him to the Kingdom of Heaven, that di-vine order of perfection, that dominion which is man’s rightful heritage as a child of God. This is the regeneration. It is not that man has really ever been lost; it is only that he has chosen to think of himself as separated from his Maker. It has seemed easier to him to trust in the evidence of his senses ra-ther than the Truth of his Being.

But this all perfect being that can't seem to create anything less than extremely flawed beings is definitely not to be blamed. @minivanjack I was referring to not knowing the outcome of our free will. Just because God knows what decision we will make, that doesn't mean that decision is already determined. There is nothing drawing me to make the decision, God just already knows which way I decided. You do not have to believe there is God. I think you should. People who truly believe there is a God and try to live by His Word, tend to treat people better. If you know, or feel, that you will answer for any wrong doing you did for eternity, you tend to at least try to do the right thing. However, if you all have to do is avoid paying for your wrong doings on Earth, here and now, you may not care. My opinion.

A lot of times He pops into my mind but I would shrug it off. He was patient with me, always knocking on my heart. During those times I would always wonder why I was still alive and well. One part of my mind keep saying it was Him protecting me all along but I ignored it. Now that I’m back with Him, I realized that I have come so far. I’m stronger. I forgave my parents. I knew then , there is a God but grew up with atheist parents who criticized church goers as hypocrites. Lived life and when i hit rock bottom at 26 feeling like the worst parent ever i was slumped against a wall wanting to kill myself , that's when i physically felt Jesus put a warm cloak of love over me , i wasnt crying out for him but i knew it was him and realised I need Christ, and to follow him and i have since and my life had turned around.❤

You make a false accusation against God, you cannot back up your falsities with what is plainly read, you have to construe a strawman from cherry picked verses, that you force your own made up meaning and interpretation to. What you are doing is illogical and irrational, you care not for Christianity, you care not for Christians, you care not for The Bible. Yet, you have an incessant need, to go out of your way, to exclaim how much you care about being against God. I don't like soccer, it's a waste of time and money, that much better could be spent elsewhere, but, I don't go all soccer videos and forums I can find, to post and comment about my dislike and or distaste for soccer, this is the very thing you do and it is irrational and illogical. Yo show in your atttude, with your mindset, that though claiming that you do, you actually have no idea what God is like. You speak of "wiping away everyone' sins", do you have any idea or knowledge, what that actually entails? Sin is in people, removing sin would be removing all people, if keeping people then no more free will, no longer able to think, speak, or move, as you want, removal of sin from all people means no more free will, no more choice. We have all sin in us, we are born into sin, and so we sin and are drawn to sin. It has separated us from God, what Jesus did on The Cross, was paying the price for sin, paying the debt for us, the debt no matter how much we "spend" can never pay. Wherever you get the idea of a "bloodthirsty maniac" from, is not found in The Bible, that is you applying your own forced self made invented cherry picked strawman interpretation, as part of trying to justify your walking away. You are here, because you think that it is somehow yor duty to "save" Christians from their "delusion", and this you see as a good thing to do. But, the delusion here, is you thinking from perspective of materialism, naturalism, that anything is good at all, that anything at all is inherently good. You being here, speaking as you, show yourself to be the deluded confused one. And, you are not here to learn or be educated, you are here to spread your negativity, your disdain, and your hate. To regurtitate the same old antitheistic strawmen and false accusations, that have been refuted and rebuked, but you atheists being opposed to actually listening and learning, ignore and dismiss what told to you, an just keep on spewing your same old atheistic dogma.

@@honkytears- We we’re created with free will and our fore parents Adam and Eve were deceived even with clear knowledge of God stating you will surely die if you eat of this tree. That is when heaven and earth were no longer on the same plane of existence. We chose it- not God. But scripture clearly states we all rise again- some to everlasting life, and others to shame and contempt- and suffer the second death. When God states ALL sin, disease and death will be destroyed- He means all the earth, heavens, and beings who refused to repent all will be destroyed by fire. Hence- the need for a new heaven and earth/universe. He states I go away to prepare a place for you- the holding place already exists (paradise/Abraham’s bosom/place of torment) But it’s clear His going to prepare an entirely new heaven and earth, and return after 6000 yrs- Remember this earth supposedly made in 6 days- but Gods time is above six solar days- scripture says 1 day to him is like 1000. Too much to chew on. I do not believe Hell/Lake of fire is eternity. If it were then scripture is wrong when it states the GIFT of God is eternal life and the wages of sin is death/mentioning a second death. The effects of the lake of fire is eternal. Because God must cleanse all sin/disease/death/suffering from His multiverse. That’s what scripture says to me.

@@honkytears I wonder if you're a parent? I ask because I feel like parenthood gave me some insight. I made many decisions that my kids didn't like. Some things were actually disciplinary, but others not. Once, I had to bring my toddler to the hospital where they had to perform a spinal tap. God knows, I would've taken that pain for him if I could've. 😢 At the time, he blamed me for bringing him to the hospital. You & I can see the big picture, but at the time, he couldn't. A few years later, I got a call that my husband had been in a car accident. That's all I knew, so I called a friend to babysit while I went to the hospital. He was DOA. We were devastated. Weeks later, my 8 yr old screamed at me that he hated me, and he wished I was the one who had died. He blamed me for not taking him to the hospital so he could say, "good bye." Although kids weren't allowed in the ER and his dad was already gone, in his 8 yr old mind, it was ME that caused his suffering. Of course, I wasn't angry; just sorrowful over his pain. My sons are in their mid-30s now, my older son has a family of his own and we all very close. ❤ I'm shocked at how quickly time flies by. Anyway, my point is: I wonder if that's kinda how it is with God. That maybe our suffering isn't "punishment" but rather the result of a series of events in a fallen world. Please understand- I'm NOT trying to minimize pain & suffering! But God is the ETERNAL parent. He understands, and someday, when we are all "grown up" we will too. Sorry so long. I hope it makes sense.

I was in a mall in Atlanta, Georgia with a friend of mine. There was a group of women in the middle of the mall doing séances in Palm reading. We decided to sit down on a bench and pray near where they were. We were praying very quietly , literally very quietly. All of a sudden the women who were doing the palm readings started looking up over the tops of their little tents that they had set up in the mall. They started peeking around like meerkats, one after another, poking their heads out, like they were looking for owls and eagles in the air. then they started swarming around like red ants who had just had their nest poked with a stick and they were trying to figure out who was doing the poking. We continued praying. As we were praying, they all started talking with one another. Finally one of the women looked over in our direction. And a couple more left in our direction. They said something to one another. And one of the women came over stood about 10 to 15 feet away from us. And said “could you please move your interrupting our readings. “I asked her how is it that we could be interrupting their reading if we’re just sitting there?” I saw God affect the spiritual realm in real time right in front of my eyes. Prayer is real. This is why they don’t want us praying outside abortion clinics. When I was in Houston, Texas, a group of friends, and I went to an abortion clinic, rather we went to a right to life clinic that was literally sharing a building with an abortion clinic. One day there was a homeless man on top of the roof. it was evening time and there was a complaint about him being there. He was making a lot of noise and acting a bit strange. When the police got on top of the building, he begged them to take him down. He kept saying evil things happen in this building there are demons here evil things happen in this building. They thought he was crazy as he described the demons he was seeing on the roof of the building. They don’t want us praying in front of these buildings. They chase people off when they pray because they know it makes a difference.

People that pray in public are trying to get noticed and possibly cause a scene. People that are so religious they try to flaunt it in front of others tend to have mental issues and like to cause disturbances. This is coming from a guy that has full faith in god and his teachings. Leave people alone. It isn’t noble to try to make people uncomfortable. Some people have had very bad experiences with religious zealots. Stop trying to force your beliefs on people. A lot of horrible things have been done in the name of religion. I like to think I pray daily, I date a woman who is a self-identified Christian and do the best I can to establish a relationship with God or a "higher power". I don't know that I'll ever consider myself "saved" or anything like that, but I am more open today than ever. @@ghenulo So then, you know all things and and have knowledge of all things, to make such an absolute statement? If your view is that, that there is nothing, then by your own view and logic of it, then there is no real point in caring for anything or anyone. If nothing after death, and life is seen as pain and missery, then what is the point of extending life, is the attitude and mindset you show. And you'll say that since life is short, then "you care all the more for it", but that is a lie, if just random from random by random out of nothing randomly by chance, then there is nothing special about life, life is then just a deviant. With life after death, there is reason to care not only for life now, but to also care for life after death. If life is not random, but created, that means a purpose, and that makes life special, and gives a reason and meaning to care for life. Many people from different cultures separated by vast distances and oceans, hold to life after death. If something "evolving" several times though separated, meaning "convergent evolution", then if separated yet multiple instances of the same thing, and if holding to logic being consistent and relied upon to be so, never changing, then there is reason to trust what is said by multiple people, and not just outright dismiss their commonality. That multiple people say the same thing, though differently, is proof that there is truth to what they say. Different persons describe different parts of an elephant, that can be concluded to be an elephant, by their description. If one person describes an object on four wheels, another says it is yellow, a third describes six windows, and the last mentions a spoiler, then we can conclude that it is a yellow car with a spoiler. That multiple cultures have mention of a large cataclysmic flood, is reason to trust that there was a large cataclysmic flood. That multiple people make mention, of seeing things after death, describing things, is reason to trust there being truth to it. You hold to a view of long time, because you think that fossils take a long time to form, and because you trust 100% in flawed fallible radiometric dating, that is shown and proven to be false, and only ever been correct about age less than the fingers you have on one hand. It does not take long time for a fossil to form, it takes a short time for a fossil to form. It is pressure that forms a fossil, a global flood covering animals in sediments, is providing that pressure. And regarding radiometric dating, it is assumptions, assumptions and guesses, it is assuming that the guess of original state of rock to be correct, and assuming that the guess of radioactive half life to be correct, consistent, and never having changed. The original state of rock, have not been observed or measured, nor have it been observed or measured, which isotopes came into the rock over time, till today, radiometric dating to determine age is thus unreliable, because it relies upon an unknown, resulting in flawed incorrect results, that since relying on an unknown will foreverbe flawed, incorrect, faulty. I find therefore no reason to trust proposed hypothetical ages, to in any way be considered as fact, but rather as unproveable hypothesis that is unfalsifiable, by the constant of increase of age, as if increasing time does away with the problems the evoluitonism world view makes for itself. Applying more time, or more power, to something that already is faulty in logic or rationality, does not work to suddenly make it correct. This basic comprehension of logical reasoning, is something Bill Nye have shown that he fails to grasp. If I bake a cake, then no amount of calculations and measurements, no matter the amount of time, will ever tell you the purpose or reason or meaning, as to why I baked that cake. There are things, that science no matter how much time, cant answer, including afterlife, and reason for life.

He married my mom, a precious Christian lady, and he had a good job and a good life but he had a deep seated anger and resentment against God that he could never overcome. I pray he did in the end. The Lord gave him several days before he passed away to talk to Him. He never confirmed this to us but my son had a very prolific dream afterwards that dad did repent. Bitterness is very hard to let go of. Its hard to believe a loving God who could control everything just won’t do it. I frequently encountered individuals identifying as "atheists" who didn't hold negative views towards religions aside from Christianity, particularly Jesus Christ. Interestingly, a significant portion, roughly 60 - 70%, of the atheists I conversed with expressed belief in paranormal phenomena. It gradually became clear that their aversion was primarily directed at Jesus Christ rather than the broader question of the existence of a higher power. All forms of suffering are a result of rejecting the divine path. We might choose to deny the existence of God as a way to reject the consequences of our rebellious actions, using this as a justification for our disbelief. However, such denial does not negate the actual existence of God. We must come to that light bulb moment to acknowledge that God holds the position of supreme authority, while we are subordinate. We require God far more than God requires us. Eccept Jesus Christ as Lord or choose the judgement that has been set since the foundation of the world John 3:18 John 3:36

The reason why there is so much misery is because Gods creation tried to be like him so they were banished and those jobs remain vacant. It is because of both human and angelic choice that we have “misery” but it was left that way to bring us closer to Him. If everything was perfect, we’d become envious of His power. But if there is an all powerful, and he granted us that same ability, it would jeopardize everything He created wouldn’t it.

I’m absolutely fascinated by the accounts shared with NDE’s. It gives us a lot of insight into why our existences play out as they do. I was raised as an atheist but am a full believer now. Earth is intended to be the most challenging school for any soul to exist on and we purposefully chose these existences. So our suffering does in fact have a purpose for spiritual growth. God is not making any mistakes or ignoring us at all.

Spoken like a true new ager maybe? New agers justify negative people or experiences as needed for growth. Isn't the soul which is apparently a fragment of God or Source they call him now perfect already? Some say that God wants to experience life outside of Itself and hence all us individuals. And with the mind wipe before the next life how are you supposed to learn all the hoops to become another ascendant master ( and how many of those does God need?) During the life review (no St Peter and pearly gates apparently) WE and not God or Jesus decide with our guides to come back during the life review to this school of hard knocks again and again. People that have had NDEs say it's way better there but we're usually persuaded to return (don't die at that point to tell the tale) because it's not "your time" and "you're not finished" or your kids need you etc. A high frequency soul trap with archons masquerading as loved ones forcing you back here again again to feed off you energy and slave away again? They say we don't have to come back. Most of this stuff is faith and pretty much still pure speculation... I could have gone on too.

@@sootuckchoong7077 God is just, perfectly totally holy and just. He offers, by Jesus, the forgiveness we all need. We only have to give it over to Him. Jesus suffered far worse than anyone bcs He also bore the weight of all the sins of the whole world of all time. He descended into hell, also. There He triumphantly showed Satan that by His stripes (His suffering and anguish) we are healed. Heaven can be our destiny bcs of Jesus.

And above all to demonstrate His love for us, John 3:16. Imagine us dying for our worst enemy or sending our only son to die for our worst enemy, not gonna ever happen. That's supernatural love, God's love.

The one thing I wish would be emphasized more in these discussions is that the devil exists and he's the one behind what we see as "senseless suffering". If the man angry at God for suffering would place that anger where it belongs (the devil) then he would answer his own question on why these things happen. Would you know how horrible your enemy is and how passionately he hates you if you didn't have evidence of his horrible nature? And ironically by turning away from God, they are serving the purpose of the very person who's the author of the things they are angry about

God created the devil knowing before he created him exactly how that old devil would turn out. How can a being act outside of his own nature? And who imbues a being any nature at all if not the being's creator?

@@honkytears He knew YOU would defy Him when He created you. But He went ahead and created you anyways. And He gave you the same choice as had the devil to defy His will. Is He making you write this? Turn on Him? Do you not feel you have autonomy whether to follow Him or not? Because that's the same choice the Devil had. And when he chose to deviate God allowed him to manifest his plans fully so that now we ALL see what a deviation from God's plan entails and therefore no one will ever want to do it again. Which is why Sin will never enter creation again once God destroys it root and branch. Not because He'll destroy our will but because we would have known that it doesn't serve our best interest. Furthermore even in our own finite world we have examples to answer your question. Aren't there parents that did the best by their children but those children went against the parents' wishes anyways? Breaking the parents' heart? Is it the parents fault when the child disobeys? You wouldn't think so. Do you think the parent regrets having that child who they love? Of course not! How much more our Father in heaven!

And the Bible says Satan is the god of this world, temporarily, as we gave him the keys, by our rebellion beginning with Adam and Eve. 2 Corinthians 4:4 "Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don't believe........" Better said by unbelievers "I blame Satan"

He did briefly comment on the world God created. It was created perfect and not for suffering. We wanted the knowledge of good and evil, and that brought sin into the world. It's that free will that we want so much and demand, but we don't want the responsibility that comes w/ it.
