I remember that season of ultimate fighter was actually what got me into watching MMA, Was UK vs USA and the UK guys were absolutely shitting on hendo's guys, plus Bisping made sure to talk shit and rub it in every single time. I despised bisping at that time, and was so happy when he got knocked out and hendo followed up like that. Funny thing is Mike grew on me a lot in the later part of his career, he's honestly one of my favorite fighters ever now

That is still my favorite knock out and in my opinion, the best knockout in UFC history. Not because of the feud these 2 had personally. (I didn't care. I wasn't invested in it.) It was an awesome knock out because Henderson decided to literally just fall (methodically) on top of Bisping after Bisping was already knocked out cold, just so he could drop that last hammer fist to his face. 🤣

Hendo has been juiced his entire career......spending most of his career in pride....an organisation notorious for it's no ped testing policy, ironically testing only for recreational drugs such as cannabis & cocaine. As numerous fighters prevalent in pride, have disclosed, the use of epo, anabolic steroids & many other peds was crucial to being competitive........top line of the rules distributed to fighters was we do not test for steroids & a number of fighters claim that meth was used just before fighting. Dan was one of the first to claim trt as a tue & as is well understood, the use of testosterone causes the body to permanently stop producing the hormone above 5% of natural levels. Dan has recently admitted that he used peds in his career

Hector Lombard. Dan talks about how Lombard would try to hurt people in the gym when warming up (Hector trained at Team Quest for a while) which was corroborated by guys at ATT who had problems with him and even when he'd be a guest at a gym he would try to hurt guys, like if you took him down in wrestling only practice he'd try to punch you and he'd hold subs to hurt guys. Theres a story of Josh Barnet coming in and teaching him lesson in the gym for all the stuff he was pulling.

Despite being an MMA fan in general, and a Hendo fan specifically, I still have a really hard time with his flying coup de grace on the clearly unconcious Bisping that has garnered so much acclaim. It was a criminal assault, IMO, that could have ended both Bisping and the MMA in one stroke. He should have been banned for life, at least.
