Exactly! That is why they're so concerned with AI. Dude, look at that 25$ Raspberry pAI! It's smarter than me! Like the guy said, AI is inevitable just like atomic physics was, another opportunity for self annihilation. I'm not scared and I'm not a beting man, but I'm almost certain that we humans are going to fuck the whole thing up by ourselves without the help of AI. In fact, AI might be the only way to prevent it. Thanks Joe Rogan for some awesome interviews!

@@WinmanVideo you got me. I am being a dick head about it Haha. I know hes a smart guy and I think he communicates fine but hes too hippy for me mannnn. Hes the type to think everything will just work out fine and dont worry about shit. I hate that view its unrealistic. He compared new tech having negative effects when first used like airplanes but really they can be good. A.I. IS NOT LIKE A PLANE but more like a nuke. What good does a nuke do for anyone? Exactly. A.i. is perfect where it is now any further and we might really regret it. That's why this guy gets on my nerves, hes just oblivious to the bad and only focusing on the good and like elon said A.I. should be regulated just because of the amount of bad it can cause. Maybe were best to sacriface the good so we dont destroy anything with the bad. I may be wrong but I'm trusting Elon on this that we should take baby steps and alot of testing before we try to create something that could litterly be a better version of ourselves.

It's true. The AI's were two bots in a Facebook language-building AI project. However, as always, the general public made all the wrong assumptions. The bots didn't build a new language because they were nefarious and wanted to hide their intentions, but because of the way they were programmed. Their task was to communicate as efficiently as possible, and unsurprisingly, computers have a very different idea of communication when compared to humans. Their programming was never restricted to clear English in the first place.

Evolution in this case would be the same as AI model training, and I would 100% say that a house fly is not as advanced as all our AI models combined - and our model training is around a Century if not only a few years of training, while evolution has been at it for million of years just for the fly to be where it is.

Anyone wonder if Ants are actually on the same level as human intelligence if not exceeding it? The only difference being the ideology of the individual vs the whole? As humans we have a flight or fight response but maybe ants are so over populated they do not care if they die if it means a chance at survival. If you lay food for humans we are skeptical and self-defensive. If you lay food in front of an ant all they think is "this is substance for the survival of the colony, trap or not I will bring this food back or die in the process" and that mentality is what drives them?

George Kavassilas refers to AI as 'TI', Technical Intelligence. He says we refer to it as 'artificial' as a way of not acknowledging it because we feel threatened by its ability. It comes from the same stuff as everything else in the universe. He talks about there being malevolent and benevolent 'TI' and it has existed for a LONG time, way before our 'recent' technological era came about. It may sound crazy but it makes a lot of sense.. Check out the video 'George Kavassilas - Artificial Intelligence (AI)' on youtube.

The novel and movie 'Solaris' revealed how factual the concept of people only existing in our Minds, through perception. In other words, we're not as real as you think. We're just an idea.

If society stopped at the first conversation, then we won't have things like ai. Things like this need to be discussed at length with many different view points bc how as a collective human intelligence can we find the optimal solution to those questions. And from those questions more questions are raised which need to be discussed.

I feel like ben is that stereotypical mad scientist that would be so adamant on creating AI, that he tends to subconsciously ignore the warnings just because hes so passionate and excited to have his childhood dream of AI recognized and actually become reality. Not to say he hasnt weighed the possible outcomes of AI and the threats it could pose, but that his passion for it becoming a reality overrides that doubt and the very real possibility of AI being rouge. And i feel if Ben were to make an AI that then goes rouge.. He would be in denial, the typical mad scientist that is just so excited and amazed at his creation, he ignores the threat that its posing on humanity. The one guy in the movie that turns the switch back on after everyone worked so hard to "cut the plug" on the rouge AI.

This man created two AI that look like humans and one of them said “i thought the goal was for robots to takeover the world” when speaking to an audience and eachother at a expo . @@eddystylez what if it doesn't go well and everyone is either killed or shares a brain with a robot would you be fine with it then you people can't just assume the best risking any life for ai instantly makes it unworthy of creation

@@eddystylez if you saw clearly yourself you'd know that transhumanism poses a real problem for mankind and quite possibly spells the end of mankind if things go their way. Fear is not inherently bad. At it's best, it is a mechanism for survival. Have you ever wondered if it is rather you who needs to see more clearly and get more of a survival instinct for yourself and your species? Technology in and of itself is not bad and can have many benefits to our lives, but it must be guided to serve mankind, not just collectively, but the wellbeing of each individual person. If you saw clearly, you would see the very arrogant, naive and yes, arguably psychopathic nature of transhumanism.

Many people seem to feel they have a right and explore these arenas whilst they then leave the problems, morality and ethics to others. I've heard man y claim it is for society and philosophers to debate as though they are exempt from responsibility for the horrors they often create. Often without any concern of the consequences. Their intellectual arrogance is astounding

Imagine that if all of us as individuals were going about our day as normal until a tipping point is reached and we become absorbed by an aggregate intelligence. As individuals, we would be like a single cell organism. Still functioning like we were before, but losing our individuality. Our context would be very different. We now live for this aggregate life form performing Kreb's Cycle so that it can stay alive.
