The Black Keys are guitarist/vocalist Dan Auerbach, and drummer Patrick Carney. Look for their new album "Ohio Players" on April 5, 2024.

Now that I think about it, I'm not sure why he was always scared to light up on screen. But yeah, Rogan basically owns the cops in Austin and he has a pass wherever he goes in the world. So kudos to him man. He became the biggest celebrity in the world

@@Dreamer-3689 I believe it is decriminalized in Austin. I wouldn't try that anywhere else in Texas though. I discovered them from the Rocksmith guitar trainer video game.... Not really a game, it's a guitar song learning tool. I enjoyed learning their songs. I had thought they were a R&B or hip hop pop band like the Black eyed peas, or Alecia Keys.... Black - keys... I don't know. My brain is a trip. 😂

Joe stay on KZbin, your long form videos deserve an audience with no paywall and that free audience deserves to dissect the conversations im glad your back, I didn’t watch a single Spotify episode and I never will based on principle, and I appreciate you coming home, this is your home we welcome you back with open arms

There was no paywall on Spotify Rogan podcasts. Just needed to download the app and hit play. The ads about every 20 to 30 minutes were there regardless of if you paid for premium or not.

Nope. Spotify Free isn't very good for music; you can't listen to songs in the order you want and there's an ad about every 5 songs. But at least for JRE it's exactly the same for free as it is for premium.

Favorite band and I’m a black slightly left leaning kid from the inner city. Broadening my palate and getting off my porch and going to Oklahoma St to play baseball helped me so much in life. These guys make some of the best music… i wish they’d go back to their Psychedelic rock days but i get it, this is what pays the bills. I been to 12 of their shows and im I’m usually the o ly Black Dude i. The first 5 rows in LA LOL

I first heard the black keys listening to Radio Broker in Grand Theft Auto 4 in 2008, then a few year later El Camino came out and they blew up. Their 2014 song Weight of Love will always be my favorite, though. It holds a special place in my heart due to the context of my life when I first heard it, and also because it wasn’t as popular of an album as El Camino.
