The real fear is that we are at a place where the “deep state” or bureaucratic edifice is so entrenched and corrupt that actual reform is beyond the reach of well meaning legislators, who eventually get swallowed up by the very system that they aimed to change. That and the danger than anyone that is a reasonable person that is an actual threat to the status quo can be compromised by simply essentially blackmailing them with something in their personal lives or even internet search history, online comments, etc. that is easily attainable by those that desire to procure such information.

I got worked so hard playing tennis once. My cousin and I were both staying in park city for the summer so we played tennis at the town center often. We had been playing regularly for a few weeks and thought we were getting pretty good. One day, we see some similarly-aged kids so we challenge them to a match. We got smoked SO bad we never even returned a serve. We literally didn’t score a single point on them. I had never been beaten so bad at anything in my life! After the ass whooping, we went inside to grab some drinks and lick our wounds. As I was walking around the club house, I noticed some trophy’s and photos. Sure enough, there was a photo of the two kids we just lost to next to a trophy - they had won the national tournament in tennis doubles. We laughed so hard and learned a valuable lesson that day.

He's a damn hypocrite on Israel. He pushed back on 30,000 Palestinian civilians killed but not on the 1,200 Israeli civilians part which includes hundreds of Israeli military casualties. He also ignores that 30,000 Palestinians killed is an underestimation since it doesn't include many Palestinian civilians that are lying dead beneath the rubble. He's the typical ignorant person who hasn't studied the matter.
@rosemaryalles60438 ай бұрын
@@u.2b215 Of the 1200+ civilians killed on Oct 7th, hardly any were military personnel. Many were women, who were raped, kidnapped and still remain in Gaza (being sexually assaulted) as hostages. Some are Americans. We can be deeply compassionate toward all who suffer (Israelis and Palestinians) without fabricating "facts". Blessings.
@u.2b2158 ай бұрын
@@rosemaryalles6043 Combatants are not civilians and the latest figures according to Israeli sources is 1,139 killed of whom 382 were military personnel, 59 were police and 10 were Shin bet. And that's not even taking into account any armed civilian Israelis who joined them and got killed and who according to international law are considered combatants. So you're lying that hardly any were military/combatants. And your other claims are without evidence so before telling someone about fabricating facts practice what you preach.
@rosemaryalles60438 ай бұрын
@@u.2b215 Please provide a reliable source for your claim. Let's analyze your claim (which is unsubstantied) If (conceding for the moment that you are correct - I doubt you are): 382+ of 1139 were combatants, that ratio is: 33%. 3:1 civilians to military ratio. According to Hamas' own figures ~32K Gazans have died since Oct 7. Of those, close to 13K are Hamas terrorists. What ratio is that? That's close to 1:1. Which is better? If you are advocating for a proportional response (which I don't - this is a war, and as Coleman correctly indicates, war is ugly) should the IDF burn babies and rape women? Also, the attack on Oct 7th remains (and will always remain) unprovoked - there is no historical context that justified raping women and burning babies. None. The Palestinian people deserve to live with basic comforts and peace. As of today more than 75% of Gazas population support the rapist terror regime Hamas. This population must be de-radicalized if there's to be any hope of a 2 state solution. Maybe Hamas can start by returning the hostages (including my fellow Americans who were abducted) and stop shelling rockets into Israel everyday. The Cvil Rights Act wasn't won through violence, it was won through strategic, non-violent action. Yeah, we should all practice what we preach.

The Jimi Hendrix discussion was incorrect. Jimi played left handed, low E string on top. Basically the way a right handed guitar is strung, but in reverse so you can make the same chord shapes for uniformity. However, some lefties actually do simply grab a right handed guitar and flip it upside down so that the low E is on the bottom. These players include Albert King, Eric Gales and Molina Moye. @@zboy2020vision okay, let's follow your assumption and say all 138 countries which voted for Palestine to become an observer state at the UN have lapse judgement because they don't have a fit system of government according to western standards. This would be a project in itself to prove all 138 countries are indeed politically corrupt (lol as if the US isn't, when you have Democrat politicians like Donna Brazile admit on television that they fixed the Democratic primary against Bernie Sanders in 2016, and the extensive use of the corporately owned and sponsored press like the Washington Post, literally owned by Bezos). But I digress. Yet, Time magazine is one of the only western media outlets that did an international poll on the current conflict (date of article JANUARY 17, 2024 12:22 PM EST). You'll see that in some western adjacent countries there existed a steep decline in Israel's favorability rating. To this end, are we to assume that the rest of the world, especially the third world, follows a different trend in favorability of Israel? Also, what indicators do you use to gauge the opinion of the world populace on the israel-palestine conflict aside from UN General Assembly votes which frequently from 1967 vote in favor of Palestinian sovereignty by a wide majority?
