Louis Theroux has a unique style, he manages to be respectful to the subject manner while still exposing what needs to be exposed. He also seems to have no ego which is very disarming and helps people open up to him even though they know what he is up to. Just a genuinely good bloke.

@@roodog430 His father Paul Theroux would be a an excellent guest. Love his travel books and he has experience teaching in Africa so he knows where the aid money from the west ends up. He also has a low opinion on the 'so called' charitable organisations such as the Rockefeller Foundation.

No currency conversion attempted! Either way you have to question if it’s worth it and just get a new watch. Perhaps even consider an ‘upgrade’ to the plastic body stainless steel strapped A158WA, for around £20 / $18. Or the full resin made to look metal but way cooler looking F91WM! About £$18. One thing Casio certainly deliver are tons of options for cheap, good, retro digitals. Wonder how many straps Louis’ been through

I read an article interviewing Tom Cruise a few years ago, and it was pretty favorable, the reporter went to one of his homes and told what they spent the day doing, etc. And then in the last paragraph, he talked about when he was leaving, he was just feeling so good, felt like he and Tom had made a real connection, that he'd got some great material, etc. Then it hit him as Tom turned to go and he walked to his car...he'd never even been invited inside. He spent the whole day with him, outside. And he just thought that was kind of a metaphor for the whole experience--Tom kept his walls up, even while making you feel like he's your best friend. Just stuck with me.

New subscriber here. I had no idea Joe Rogan is such a well thought out, deep and very articulate person. I agree with a lot of what he says and he does a great job of carrying on a conversation with a lot of really interesting, smart people. I'm glad I started watching.

Tom Sagar The first Elon Musk interview on JRE is absolutely legendary, and honestly perhaps one of the single greatest KZbin videos *of all time* (they smoked weed on the air and were drinking, Elon got in lots of trouble afterwards I think lol). Honestly, if you haven’t seen it yet - do yourself a MASSIVE favour, and watch that episode. Seriously, it is truly stuff of legends. Probably my favourite ever JRE episode lol, what an experience it is. Enjoy!

Oh, how I love Louis and his adorable awkwardness (most of us Brits suffer from the same affliction!) I genuinely got upset when I not only found out he had a wife but she's daaaamn fine! Lucky man and a very lucky woman! (Google Louis Theroux Wife to see her; they both did very well and are very cute!)
