Joe is actually having a dmt experience and has unlocked some sort of ancient psychic power which projects immortal spiritual beings in front of him. He is speaking to DMT itself.

Had the chance to meet him while working in a restaurant. He noticed my excitement and pulled out a deck of cards to show my friend and I a trick. He then offered taking a picture with me understanding we are not allowed to ask for pictures or any of that kind to guests. He left an Ace card and still have it in my wallet. You’re awesome David! 👏👏

K Man Dude calm down. Even if he is lying why is it any of your business? All he did was thank a magician, he didn’t say anything outlandish which requires proof.

@K Man Wow.. Didn't mommy hug you as a child? It's entirely possible because he probably has like 100 packs of cards in his car. This is his profession. He's able to do these things with a normal deck of cards.

Where I used to work I would see celebrities almost every day, I became used to enjoy their presence and sometimes give a complement but respect their privacy regardless. I do have a selfie he took (believe it or not) don’t need to prove anything though. Also have the Ace of spades still. Have seen him twice but the first time was when we actually had the interaction. I complemented his mental strength to put his body through serious delicate situations yet stay calm and in a flow state. His art. I was shaking, he noticed, hence the beginning of the interaction. The second time he was with a bigger group of people, no interaction but awesome having him as a guest nonetheless. Awesome kind gentleman. 🎩

When David was talking about how no drug experience could come close to the hallucinations that he experienced, you could see the pain behind Joe’s eyes, trying to hold back talking about DMT.

David Blaine is so dope! I remember when my brother was sick with leukemia in Sloan hospital in NY. David came and visited us in my brothers room. All of our cousins and family were there and David did some tricks that were straight up unbelievable! I just remember looking around the room and at my brother and how happy and amazed he was. It was really such a happy moment in a sad time! My brother passed away a few weeks later but I will never forget that moment!

I met David Blaine as a teen. Shortly after I became disabled. He was about 16 or 17. He used to walk up and down Broadway in Grenwich Village. He strongly resembled a classmate and I went up to him thinking he was what I found out was his cousin. He did magic tricks for me... eventually for a few months, I'd go to the village and when I'd see him I'd hang with him while he performed tricks . Even that young he just LOVED entertaining people. He was always humble. A decade later I'm seeing him on cable TV and I ask myself why he looks so familiar. He had his own special. Then one day he did a show where he was back on his old stomping grounds performing tricks. But by this time he was a magic superstar... But seeing him in his environment, I realized that was the dude I chilled with for a few months on occasion in the village. It felt awesome to realize that his amazing magic took him so far in life... God bless him.

4 years ago my father fell off a ladder while we were working together and broke his neck and back and has been in a wheelchair ever since but after it happened he had no function below his neck. I witness the entire thing and even I thought there was never a chance he'd walk again but now he stands on his own and can even take several steps with a walker and he's always making small progress. The only thing that truly hinders us, is our own lack of faith and understanding. Faith in each other and ourselves and understanding of just how powerful our minds truly are. To anyone reading this and is having a tough time with life and it's ridiculous obstacles.. I love you and appreciate you for who you are and you ARE strong and you ARE worthy and you CAN do it and you WILL make it. 🤟🏻💪🏻🤜🏻🤛🏻🙌🏻💗

The way this librarian’s sincere encouragement, and his mom’s enthusiastic reaction and genuine support of her son’s interests changed the trajectory of a young kid’s life. We should all strive to be that adult in a child’s life. It absolutely makes a difference. I guarantee everyone watching right now is either thinking of the adult who filled that role in their young life, or they are wishing they had a supportive, encouraging adult role model who actually took an active interest in their life and their hobbies. They are also thinking of all the ways their life might have turned out differently if they had any semblance of guidance as a kid. Be that adult. It matters.

I am the later. I never had anyone support me. My mom left when I was like 10yrs old and my father worked as a fireman so he would be gone 24hrs every 2 days and he was the opposite of a encouraging parent. Any dream I had was instantly shot down by him saying it is just a silly dream or I couldn't do it, it would be to hard, it will never happen, your odds are so low and or you know how many people try and fail... You should just stop give up and just focus on a regular job and live a normal life. He did not like what i had a pashon for which was bodybuilding. I was a skinny 160lb 15yr old when I showed him a picture of one of my favorite bodybuilders named Kevin Levrone he just looked and said you will never look like that. I used his and everyone's negativity to fuel my motivation to workout and diet wanting to prove all the naysayers wrong it took my years to reach 230lbs lean with 20in arms and during that time bulking getting a lil fat people still doubted me thinking I didn't know what I was doing. Not until I actually looked like a bodybuilder at 230-240lbs lean with 20in arms. Now I want to get on stage and compete which will be lonely for me. Other bodybuilders have there family going to there shows encouraging them. I will not have any family in the crowd. Its ok though . sorry about the rant I just needed to write and tell someone to get this out of me and I feel better lol

He’s explained in a special that facial expressions are a teller & are “70” percent of the magic trick. It’s all abt getting the viewers attention to where you want it directed. For instance, if u ever watch his old street card trick vids.. He never wears sun shades nor do tricks on people with shades.. He later explained he must see where there eyes r looking.

I just had to stop the video at 37:36 to say, David Blaine, you understand the meaning of the human experience. Not too many people do and that's the real magic in life....is in the understanding of the purpose fundamentally. God gave you intuition, you used that as a guiding compass as your life purpose. It's magical to not only understand but perfect your gift and to incorporate the healing powers of nuetrality. At the root of all of us is love. God bless you.

Sleep deprivation is only rivaled/equaled by deliriants in terms of how immersive/believable the hallucinations are. I don't think anyone in their right mind takes deliriants recreationally - and if they do so frequently, won't be in their "right mind" for very long. Sleep deprivation is very serious and is not something to be fucked around with or taken lightly (same thing with deliriants and all hallucinogens, but ESPECIALLY deliriants).

@@ericf5976 DMT is incredibly immersive and transformative, but hallucinating under sleep deprivation is wayyy more subtle and it fucks with you. Under DMT, you are transported to another plane of existence and it becomes apparent to the user. With sleep deprivation, you will see shadow people and insects and hear voices and it is not apparent what is real and what is an internal/external hallucination at all. I've suffered from hallucinations from moderate sleep deprivation doing shift work and have seen shadow people (in my peripheral) and have had auditory hallucinations in those conditions. It's different psychologically because you are not aware of having taken a drug (because you haven't) and are therefore not equipped to accurately evaluate what is real and what is illusory.

@lifeinstructionsdotnet8767
@lifeinstructionsdotnet8767 4 жыл бұрын
DETAILED TIMESTAMPS /SUMMARY (w/quotes): 0:01 Looking at Joe's different action figures (Joe: "It's pretty dope". David: "It's awesome") 1:03 How David got started with illusions 3:46 The two worlds of "magic" and endurace (David: "I love both separately"). Also: how David learned to hold his breath (from 4:30) 6:28 David talks about blacking out under water (Joe: "You make it sound exciting"). Also: Joe talks about getting choked out vs. getting knocked out. 13:50 Talking about David's breathing tecnique, which builds up the ability to hold your breath. (David: You'll get up to 4+ minutes for sure"). Continues into a long talk about how David learned to hold his breath for so long. 21:03 Joe's thoughts on what it takes to achieve perfection. Also talking about James Nestor, who recently was on the JRE podcast (David: "He's amazing") 27:38 Joe mentions that Dana White has been banned from casions because he wins so much at blackjack. David thinks he's just counting the cards. 31:53 David does a dice trick (Joe: "Get that voodoo away from me, man) 33:07 Why David likes illusions/magic so much, and how he got on TV 41:39 How David's magic evolved, and his famous ice trick 44:05 David's trick which involved getting buried alive 50:26 David talks about the difficulty of performing his ice trick (David: "The ice was a monster"), and the hallucinations he experienced. 1:00:56 David talks about his new and dangerous balloon trick that he's going to perform live on August 31st. 1:08:16 David's video where he jumps out of an airplane (Joe: "That was pretty f...ing spectacular") 1:16:59 Joe does a long stretch 1:29:32 Joe sits next to David for a painful "trick" that involves stabbing David's hand with an ice pick(!) (Joe: "How do I know I'm not gonna hit an artery?" David: I don't know, you're smart. You'll figure it out") 1:37:53 Joe appears to be unimpressed with the trick (Joe: "I can't say I enjoyed that. That was very uncomfortable"). 1:42:54 David has to check on his arm after the ice pick "trick", and Joe pauses the podcast. 1:43:48 David drinks a looot of water for his "frog swallow and regurgitate" trick (Joe: "It's a decent sized frog... You wouldn't want to swallow a frog that large") 1:51:17 Joe "trees can communicate through fungus" Rogan 2:01:04 David tries really hard to regurgitate the frog (Joe: "This is so bizarre") 2:02:51 David spits out a looot of water. (Friendly tip: Don't watch while eating!). Joe: "The frog is probably like: 'what the f... did I do to deserve this?" 2:04:01 David finally gets the frog out (David: "That's the frog trick") 2:11:23 Joe asks David what he enjoys the most about his work (David: "All of it") 2:18:02 Joe talks about the very flexible gymnast Stephanie Millinger (Joe: "I follow her on Instagram") Note: I do summaries of every episode on the Joe Rogan sub on Reddit. You can also find my summaries at lifeinstructions.net/joerogan/ PS: If you sub to my KZbin channel, you're more likely to see my summaries in the comment section ^^
