Todd Haley Well I disagree with you, it doesn’t matter if he wasn’t on roids for every fight he still popped look at him now his last three fights man they’ve all been split decisions were he’s arguably lost. He’s had split decisions in the past like the Alexander fight too and a few others. Yeah GSP lost but that was when he was still young and didn’t know much once he started getting his composure and his game together you do remember he had no wrestling experience whatsoever then somehow became one of the best wrestlers ever. After he got his skills polished he never lost a fight again and he even came back 4 years after retirement and beat Michael Bisping in a higher weight class and became the champion. If that doesn’t spell out GOAT I don’t know what does. GSP never had to cheat and how do you know that if Jones never popped how do you know he woulda still won? He was losing the second DC fight till he caught him with the kick, then guess what? He popped...

A few years ago I honestly had Anderson, Jones and GSP tied at #1 GOAT, couldn't really choose one or another. For me it was like Anderson is the most fantastic one, GSP is the most technical and fundamentally sound and Jones is the most talented ever. Even though Anderson's competition level was nowhere near the one GSP and Jones faced, he did movie shit inside the cage that you just wouldn't believe. Then he started popping for steroids a few years ago and we'll just never know what happened during his reign, it's a shame. Jon Jones for me is the most talented of the three and combining his skills with the competition level, he could've gone down as the GOAT, but I don't even need to begin to explain my point on choosing Georges over him as well nowadays. So I have GSP as the greatest of all time without a doubt anymore...

John I have a few friends that did university wrestling and it was amazing how much weight they could lose, as well as recover in the day after weighing in. GSP said he naturally walks around at 180-185, and is a natural 175 competitor. Making 155 seems doable based on his frame. They essentially make that weight for about 15-20 minutes, then begin rehydration and he would probably be about 165-170 after that. Only thing that would be holding him back is his age.

@Turk_20236 жыл бұрын
Sport has promoting issues so stars can fuck up..... They fail to create new stars and are relying on a few guys.... Like when Michael Jordan was kicked out of the NBA in 93 for gambling, they tried hard to make Barkley and Shaq the new stars , but ultimately they had to let MJ come back.... They learned their lesson and now people get over hyped, but the average person knows NBA players on multiple teams. I mean Woodley/DC, Dillishaw/Cody/DJ should all be pushed hard, Stipe has a beer commercial but nothing else.........Look at DJ`s division, there is not even a contender for him...UFC needs to hire a new marketing team.....Ultimately these champs need to fight more and get the gears rolling, and if a fighter can not defend his/her belt every 90-120 days it needs stripped to keep the ball rolling.
