@JohnBehrens1184 жыл бұрын
@@josephlilley9249 He didn't say play fighting doesn't exist, just that professional fighters don't say they "play fight" or "play MMA" when talking about their careers and professions. A backyard UFC match doesn't give you the credentials to say you're a fighter.

GSP kind of addresses this during this entire podcast. The UFC is kind of afraid of him... he does have a health issue that's annoying to deal with, and he cares about his legacy. That would be one hell of a fight, and both fighters want it.. However, it is bad business for Dana if he allows that fight to happen... imagine GSP wins and dominantly let's just say... now he becomes a 3 division champ and then decides there are no other interesting fights in that division for him and decides to relinquish the title. That kills all of Khabib's momentum as he now is not undefeated anymore, and basically ruins a guy that can generate a lot of revenue for the UFC. Where as GSP, as good as he still is... is in the twilight of his career and only looking for interesting fights. Dana can't promote GSP the way he used to... where as Khabib can still be a cash cow and a moneymaker.... Financially it just doesn't make sense for Dana to make that fight.

Someone from Nicks crew was secretly recording, it was posted on KZbin but UfC got it removed with the quickness claiming copyrights since it was a weigh ins event and backstage.
