You would think that anyone that carries around some type of rare venomous snake would also carry the anti-venom for that type of snake with them I think that would just be good business
@ThorCarlton5 жыл бұрын
Snake antivenom is very expensive. Especially these days. Getting bitten by a rattlesnake could financially destroy you nowadays.
@chuggon75955 жыл бұрын
@@ThorCarlton but here's the thing he was milking snakes for the venom (yes that's what the process is called) so he should more than likely have anti-venom on him
@MrNewcaledonia5 жыл бұрын
Empire Loyalist No, I work closely with rattlesnakes and extract their venom to use it for the possible elimination of cancerous cells. Developing anti-venoms is a VERY expensive and time consuming process, even I as a herpetologist that works exclusively with snakes am not qualified to do that, you need extreme knowledge on anti-venom development (specialty) and very unique and expensive equipment (a lab too). To give you an idea, the lab I work at has anti-venom for every snake we handle but just enough of it for the staff.
@ThorCarlton5 жыл бұрын
@Liberty or Death treatment for a snake bite involving antivenom can run you $100,000+ easily in the US. But that's mainly because our hospitals are businesses rather than actual treatment centers like they should be.
@ThorCarlton5 жыл бұрын
@Liberty or Death okay, that's the price per vial of antivenom. Like you stated, it usually takes more than one, and what I'm talking about hospital treatment. If you go to the hospital to be treated for a rattlesnake bite they aren't going to just flat out charge you for the antivenom. It's 2 grand for a ride in the wee woo wagon so they're gonna charge you out the ass for possibly life saving treatment.

@Liberty or Death Haku wasn't ripped, but had alot of muscle with a layer of fat. Thick physique. His stories are legendary. Other than Andre, he was the one wrestler no one would fuck with. Even when they ask the toughest wrestlers who was the baddest, Haku, (King Tonga), is the one who is unanimously comes up. From hearing all the stories, it seems he was a very nice guy but dont get him angry. Never know if the stories are embellished, but they are pretty consistent. Sounds a little like Stone Cold too. Wrestlers from the 80s-90s forced their vocal cords into a certain tone and wavelength of sound that has so much bass and deepness that dogs have a hard time of hearing it's full spectrum of existence, but can hear the steroids in the words he spoke in the 80s, because his voice echoes throughout eternity due the combination of having muscular vocal cords and Andre the Giant landing on his chest/upper body, and farting, enhancing the octaves and amplification of his voice. In other words, Andre's fart caused his voice to have a permanent and infinite echo due to the fart being 40 secs long, which spans multiple dimensions, and transcends the 4th(time). The only creature that can really hear both the fart and Jake's voice with ease, is the mythical Bigfoot. They actually communicate and teleport using their farts, which is also why they are undetectable. Being able to fart on demand also helps. Also why people say they smell a horrible smell when encountering them. The more ya know..

The medical procedure he’s talking about is Fasciotomy. Many Pit Vipers ( Rattlesnakes, Gaboon Vipers, Bushmasters ) have a Cytotoxin venom, which will concentrate on the spot of injection. It will actually rot away the skin and bone like Gang Green, depending on the toxicity of the snake, venom yield and the individuals overall health. It tends to be very prevalent in Pit Vipers from Latin America ; particularly the Fer-de-Lance and the Bushmaster. I’ve seen some medical pics from people who’ve been bit by these two species and it’s horrific the damage that they can cause.

I was on a little island in Indonesia that didn’t have any cars. Just bikes and horse carts. I’m riding a bike from the beach bars back to our house one night, and the path goes through a field that had a herd of goats. That night all the goats had climbed up on top of a low wall. They’re all laying up there nose to tail. I thought “hmm, that’s strange”. The next morning one of my friends goes for a run. He comes back and says “There’s a Komodo dragon out in the field”. The maid said they would see it once a year or so. Guess the dragons tagged a goat or two out there and the rest bailed up onto the wall.
