The Jordan Peterson who was a mildly conservative psych prof at the U of T, coming to class in his dad sweaters and vests and lecturing to teenagers about Disney movies and child development, was a very interesting person. People told me he was so smart and amazing back in the day. I boot up one of his q and As and someone asks him a question. Of course he uses an analogy to get his answer across. While analogies can be helpful tools to explain something he takes it so far it loses all meaning. The guy asks the question, Jordan starts talking about chaos and dragons, and keeps talking about it. He talks about chaos and dragons for so long I forget the orignal question and rewind the youtube video to see if I missed something. He eventually wraps up the chaos and dragons bit and says okay next question. I still don't know what his answer was to this day.

The episode with Kevin Smith where he described how he euthanized his dog at home while he and the family sat around the dog saying goodbye was actually very touching and it made both of them cry which is totally understandable!
