Joe Rogan is starting to have an habit of changing the narrative of the way fights go down: Kamaru DID take down Leon in al 3 of the fights, and at ease too. What Kamaru wasn't able to do in the last one was holding him down for long enough and pressing him against the cage enough to win rounds. The only accurate thing said here is that Kamaru was bit more cautious, wich cost him the fight.

Yet before that Usman 2 fight, everyone was calling out Leon as a boring point fighter with no power. He rocked Usman bad twice in their final fight. The man has serious power, but he knows his skills at mid range play with fighters minds Honestly, people are saying Colby with be tougher because of his cardio combined with wrestling, but after watching Leon's last 2 fights, that striking will be on his mind too. As long as Leon isn't backing up, I can't see how he loses as Usman will want him against the cage. Bring the fight to Colby and keep centre if the Octagon, and that's exactly what I think Leon will do Then you've also got to consider that Leon's wrestling just gets better and better with every fight. I think Leon still hasn't reached his full potential yet and just look at what he's doing. No one else signed to fight Khamzat, then when it continually gets cancelled, reschedule. Same with Belal. Only Leon & Burns have fought down the rankings and that there, is championship level mentality

Usman was not the same guy in the last fight. Not because of his confidence and strategy being effected, but his body. Getting knocked out in a fight is quite a spectrum. Getting dropped and pounded on and the ref stopping the fight with a guy who’s hurt is night and day from getting kod lifeless, stiff as a board for 30 seconds to a minute. You are not gonna be the same in a few months to get in there again. Leon didn’t level up his wrestling from decent to Olympic level in a few months, usman went from Olympic caliber to decent after getting ko’d. people thinking that Leon is next level are gonna be in for a reality check when Colby runs him over and hits him w the 50-44 and a soda. Leon got lucky and landed that kick that changed usman going forward. Colby is going to help the fans understand that.
