The best one was the Bird Box joke at the end. Like everything he said on the night, none of it was a joke, it was all true. Some things were funny....the Scorese joke about him being too short, the Leo joke about dating people decades younger. Those gentlemen took it in their stride but were no doubt fucking fuming afterwards. Perhaps not Scorcese...he is short. Leo needs to grow up or not. Good on him. Stupid young girls who think they won't be tossed overboard at the next high tide. The Birdbox/Weinstein line though? I would have loved a cut to Paltrow at that point....why else is she famous? They feign laughter but they know it's true. Every single female in that audience knew what he was. It could only have been better if Ricky included a quip about Roman Polanski in the same vein then cut to Merryl Streep.

Some of my favorite moments out of Ricky‘s monologue was a look on the faces of the companies he was talking about. They looked so pissed off! And I loved it! My thing is, if you’re so proud of what you’re producing and you’re OK with using slave labor, then when someone points it out, you shouldn’t be so pissed, right? And if you’re pissed that someone pointed out the truth, then that’s an admission of guilt. All those celebrities and big tech businesses got exactly what they deserved that night. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I really hope the youth of America watched Ricky Gervais that night so they realize that celebrities aren’t these wonderful role models that they present to be.

Gervais is an atheist progressive whose diatribes against religious conservatives aren’t as kind as his comments about the entertainment elite. Conservatives who support him are pathetic morons.
@BaldMancTwat4 жыл бұрын
@@muonneutrino2909 I only believe in one less god than you do. Everyone is born atheist. The earth is 4 billion years old not 5 thousand. No religous book ever mentions dinosaurs or any life before humans. If you took all the religous books and all the science books and threw them in a fire, in 100 years all of the science books would be back exactly the same yet the religous books would be completly different or wouldn't exist at all. What's the problem with atheism? The proof is only for it not against it.
