Got one for my wife and it was a perfect vehicle that did everything I wanted or needed it to do. Then 15,000 miles later lights started coming on and it just started acting funny. So I dropped it off and the dealer and it needed 4 or 5 little things. Then 10k miles later it wouldn't go in gear. Then it was good for another 10k. And it kept doing that till we just parked it. We couldn't sell or trade it on because the value dropped so much it was better to keep as a paper weight. I soon realized they cost so much because they charge you for repairs in advance.

@yorkshire_tea_innit8097 Жыл бұрын
@EAMitch 1. Citation needed. 2. Why would you compare it to the average vehicle? Luxury cars have a lot of stuff in them that can go wrong, if you dont have the stuff, it will never go wrong. 3. When it comes to stats, you also have to consider the kinds of people who buy them and the kinds of things they do to it. Carwow did a video on unreliable cars, and the sport did poorly, but the regular version wasnt even mentioned.

why people keep buying them?
@astro_bear Жыл бұрын
@@winnigriff8989 Real answer: These aren't first owner problems. First owner buys them, gets to the point where they know they've been playing Russian roulette with one left in the chamber, and trades it in/sells it. Second ower is getting the car that might be inspected, or runs decently fine for a few thousand miles before implosion. Range Rover doesn't care, because second owner is about to pay the second owner tax.
