I think that TUF is a very tough situation, with the house, the cameras, the fights and the training. I think it is a fast track that is equal to a year in the amateurs, whether they are pro or not. No, most did not. Which is why everyone - Elite XC themselves - was waiting for Kimbo to sweep through Petruterrified (he looked it before the fight) and remain undefeated. Most folks had not even heard of Seth before the fight and only knew that he was a failed UFC'er who accomplished little to nothing over there. If everyone knew he was going to win, why was it such a big shock to the MMA world (and to Kimbo himself) and why did Seth look like he just saw a ghost after he won the fight?

Why would he step into the octagon to fight? He knows perfectly well that he is nowhere near good enough to compete in the UFC. I love the sport too, but have no interest in stepping in the octagon. I would get my ass whooped, which would not be nearly as fun for me as sitting on my couch watching 2 other guys beat the shit out of each other.

John Potts I know because the people who are in the octagon has been training for years and are very talented. I'm pretty athletic but it's obvious that I'd stand no chance against someone who has trained intensively for years. I'm not saying I couldn't learn. I have no interest in practicing mma myself though. Not a big fan of getting hit in the head.
