It more seemed to me like Joe was giving him the stage to address either or both issues, and the rock just ducked it all. I think if Joe had asked the rock about either, he'd have lied and Joe would have had to call it out, and it would have just ended. That or they likely had the conversation in private and had a gentlemans agreement it was done.

Hard to say if it’s true or not. He doesn’t have to be good to go there or to even win. There was lots of pro wrestlers there and sone of the. We’re shit fighters. They don’t have to give you tough opponents or even fighters to fight. Hell the fight doesn’t even have to be real. Who knows what they would do for even an unknown Rock at that time. If they saw potential they could use him many ways to get him over with fights real or fake in Pride. If he started training there is many guys he could hang guns with over there. Especially since they never followed their own weight classes. But there was no change he was thinking of making a career out of fighting there. Getting a paycheck use it to get into NJPW. Sure!

Dwayne not coming out and telling people that he's taken anabolics for recovery is pretty weird. He could even turn around and say that he's on HRT for it due to all of the injuries he's sustained. If he's going to not say anything and pretend that the pink elephant in the room isn't there, then that just shows you how insecure he is as a man. He's always come across as someone that's trying to pretend to be someone that he isn't. It's very, very strange how genuinely fake Dwayne is.

Chael you're the man but how could you not have considered that Joe and Rock talked behind the scenes about all this lol? I believe Rock even mentions that they were texting back and forth beforehand about how Joe handles online criticism, so it seems they do at least have some outside private communication between each other.

Chael hates/jealous of Joe - he throws out compliments here and there to try to hide it but he takes shots at Joe and tries to discredit him every chance he gets - like obviously they talked before the podcast and hashed out what to talk about and what not to talk about - acting like people can’t get over things and have to call people out no matter the circumstances

Doesn’t matter. They are both public figures. If they have beef online and dont address it online, to their audience any conversation they have will look disingenuous and fake. And even if they did talk it out prior, their conversation felt fake as fk any way.

Johnson is living and acting the role he's found himself in. Fine. Rogan, on the other hand, purports to be genuine. This is and always will be my issue with him. He pushes the boundaries just enough...that he's got people fooled into thinking he's an independent mind.

I like Joe Rogan and I quite like The Rock, however, the podcast episode was pretty dull. There was no flow or snap to the conversation. The Rock also said "as you know, Joe" about 749 times in a 3 hour conversation. He even said it about things that Joe clearly didn't/wouldn't know about.

The scratching of his hand was very pronounced during this. But he stops this energy when he lays it on the line for the last part. He spells out what is bothering him and bam he's an adult who owns himself. I do not know this man and never really followed him, but his ability to understand people is impressive. I just remember him telling another MMA coach I cannot let you get close to me then taking him down. Some guy from the other team sucker punches him from behind and all the while Chael is grounded and in control of himself and his reactions. This guy gets it. You can respect this man.
