dford145 "Nooo he doesn't have cancer anymore? His cancer made him so funny! Nooooooo!" God damn man. People are so ready to watch other humans go down in flames just because it boosts a career and makes for a more dramatic public persona. The booze did it's job then. It was a crutch and if his leg feels better he needs to toss it aside until he needs it again. Pro's like Stanhope usually get to a point where they don't drink for fun anymore. They drink because they have to. And when that happens, when it stops being fun, it stops being a crutch and starts being just a shitty repetitive choice you make like an OCD tick or cigarettes or whatever. Drink only when it brings you joy. Stop when it doesn't. That's all.

I carry pepper spray (in my hand) everywhere I go, and I've used it a few times. The last time was on an aggressive dog, never imagined I'd use it on a dog but I'm glad I had it. Thanks for asking.

Rogan just seemed to suggest something really bizarre. He said that is a woman is alone in a room with a man and he comes onto her and she says yes she can later claim that the felt pressured to do it as it could turn violent. That would make it possible for every woman to claim rape after every sexual encounter ever. Maybe I misunderstood but that seems like what he was saying.
@Anax1003 жыл бұрын
yeah you misunderstood. He was basically placing himself into the mind of a woman and establishing that the risk for her is a lot greater than for a guy in the same situation. the average guy is much stronger than the average woman. The risk to her if things went very badly is potentially mortal if she misjudged their character. That's something a guy might not think about when trying to understand te power dynamic in even seeeming ly harmless situations. Joe's being an empath here.
@AnyoneCanSee3 жыл бұрын
@@Anax100 - I listened again and disagree. They are talking women being compelled into sexual actions because of men having power over them and that this is sexual exploitation. Whether or not women felt compelled to allow Louis C.K. to masturbate in front of them because he had power over them. They speak about how other men like Spacey having power over people and using it for sexual gratification and this is one huge part of the #metoo movement. Men exploiting their power over women for sexual gratification. Rogan makes the point that "if you are a man in a room alone with a woman then it is always a power thing as you can f-ing kill them." So the only way that is relevant to the discussion is if he is making the point that a woman always feels compelled to have sex out of fear and she can later call this rape as the man had power over her. The same as a powerful man has work power over her. He is relating it back to the metoo movement and women being compelled to have sex because of a power dynamic. If this were true any woman that agreed to sex could later say she only did it because he was bigger than her and could hurt her is she said "no." That's nonsense, she has to say "no." Otherwise, any woman could later use this argument against any man. By the way, the entire thing is muddy. I know a ton of people that met their wives at work and they were on a higher pay grade. Humans that work together hook up as it is the most natural thing imaginable. Obviously, you can't go around sexually harassing women but people have affairs and meet the loves of their lives at work. We are not robots. This is why there has been push back from cultures like the French that are not hung up about sex, like Americans are. There is nothing wrong with sex, people simply need to understand what is professional behaviour and how you approach such things and that no means no. By the way, I visited the USA and American men are fucking gross in bars and clubs and I imagine at work too. My jaw hit the floor at the way they speak to women, even women with other guys. They act like predators and not as a human speaking to another human. Americans don't seem to know how to interact with men either and everything is a dick waving contest. Look how Americans behave in comment sections, they are all like angry adolescent high school kids. Wow, waffled sorry.

It's so weird to me that it's become a thing that people are worried when they're alone with others. Funnily enough, Stanhope talks a bit about fear-mongering in a recent interview with ReasonTV. When I'm alone in a room with a burly guy, nowhere in my mind do I think that he might do something to me. Unless he gives off a threatening vibe. In which case I would just leave. And probably still not worry much. Because IF he does something, he'll likely go to prison. Somebody's bound to know that I'm there, there'll be a trail of evidence, etc. Although, granted, in case of a Grindr date, depending on what happens, it might be tough to prove that it wasn't consensual. But I'd probably be prepared in that case. And STILL not be on edge. Because the vast majority of people just aren't violent psychos.

Watch Joe's old shit. He use to be a virtue signaling hard core liberal back when he thought that was the only path toward legalizing marijuana. He starts going down the right path for a bit and then spends 3 hours talking to Judd Apatow and takes 3 steps backward.

He's never groped you Joe. Because your bigger then him, and you might beat the shit out of him. It's funny that they never "joke" with people who might be able to break their legs? So weird...
