He is letting people know what is going on about corruption fine but he puts up an act like he isn't part of that corruption. If you in boxing as a trainer, boxer, promoter, manager, judge, you are that so thanks for clearing that up. This person seems to be speaking out against it yet he is part of it. Now that's character or hypocrisy. Anyway thanks for reminding everyone how shit is ran in the pros I feel sorry for all the athletes getting the shaft by all these mf trainers, managers, promoters.

CarlosBernardo10 people change, and it DOES take character to one day make the proverbial u turn and draw a line in the sand. I used to work for a company for years that as I rose through ranks I saw how gross people were atop of the $4 Billion ladder. It caused me to literally re-think my life, walk away from a lot of money and start a new career. So while I think your sentiment and heart is in the right place, I don't think we should judge people in a guilt by association 30 years ago. All his fighters love him, that's not an accident. Also I agree entirely that prize-fighters, especially in MMA and lower tiers of boxing (at least here in the states) are grossly underpaid. My point was that he's telling the truth now, not a judge of past character.

Yeah Pac-Man clearly beat Bradley twice just like Triple G clearly beat Canelo twice... and speaking of CANELO he is the one in boxing getting the MOST CORRUPTION behind him.....example LARA beat him yet he got a gift decision by pay judges... Austin Trout beat him or gave him a draw yet he got the decision from corrupt paid judges.... even in the Mayweather fight where Mayweather dominated all 12 rounds, Clenelo still got a draw on one card from Paid corrupt judges. it still unbelievable for me that Canelo's side got to organize the second fight again and GGG's side just went with it. it was the same with Andre Ward and Sergey Kovalev. especially with Kovalev who cried about referees being American, fight happening in America with American fighter and that's what cost him. and what his team does next? completely the same thing. okay, Kovalev lost with no chance, but GGG's situation is just ridiculous.

The thing I always hated about fighting sports like boxing and MMA is the competitors have a choice who they fight way to often. Whatever organization you're contacted or fighting for should be who determines who fights who. Look at Sugar Ray Leonard wouldn't fight Marvin Hagler until he was older and slower same with Mayweather and Pacquiao should have fought at least 7 or 8 years earlier. Roger Federer doesn't say he won't play Raphael Nadal, the Yankees don't say they won't play the Mets in a world series if that's the two teams in the world series, the Knicks won't say they won't play the Celtics. If you're a mechanic for Ford you don't tell your boss you won't work on a mustangs or a Chevy mechanic says they won't work on a Camaro. So fighters shouldn't have the choice who they fight the organization should tell the fighters who they fight.

Im a fan of what Fury did, but those of you that said he was robbed are not being honest, he got Floored 2x, he definitely was owning Wilder, making him look stupid, but the Gypsy king got cocky and got caught, and if he didn't fall a 2nd time, he would be the champ...but he got caught, a draw was a decent call. GGG vs Canelo 1 was a terrible result....2nd fight GGG didn't learn much from the first fight, he shoulda known if he don't at least knock Canelo down he's gonna lose....but boxing robbery has gone on forever, Holmes Spinx 1, Sugar Ray vs Hagler.....I could go on...and Teddy was in the game at those times.

I've been around boxing for 35 years and this is how it works, BOXING IS FIXED! Promoters with big money push their top crowd gathering fighters into the fights they want and know will draw crowds and money, they pick and choose their opponents, they pick and choose their judges, they bribe commissioners and this goes on for as long as the boxer brings in the 💰..when someone like Tyson for example starts to get stoned, drunk, asking for more money and basically starts causing problems for his managers and promoters they let their fighter slide, let him indulge in sex, drugs & booze all the while convincing him they got this next fight in their pocket..the fighter steps into the ring out if shape, out of focus, and fucked up from excessive living and loses the fight and all his belts..meanwhile your same promoters and handlers bet against you and made millions.

Grew up watching old fights on ESPN Classic. Friday Night Fights was always a favorite of mine when I was in high school since it would start my weekend. But I understand. Teddy Atlas spiting truth like this makes me feel a bit better, but it also hurts to know that even though these are open secrets, precisely nothing will change. And you'd think the alphabet organizations would change because their lunch is getting eaten by MMA. But they won't.

@Josh Compton I don't think it's the corruption ruining it - I think it's the lack of accesability for the average person who may actually enjoy it. The average sports watching guy who may enjoy boxing casually like a bunch of other sports isn't going to go out his way to pay the absurd prices - especially when he can probably see a lower quality replay on youtube later. Honestly I like MMA, but boxing tends to be more entertaining on a more consistent level. It still should be bigger but it's never seen by the average person because it's made too inaccesable.

Anybody else notice how when teddy is talking or telling a story he literally looks down at the table or whatever the whole time. I watched another one of the segments and he was telling joe about mike Tyson and for like 15 minutes while he was telling the stories he never looked up at joe or even just look up period. He just continually looked down at the table for the entire 15 or 20 minutes. Like he is afraid to make eye contact or something. A lot of times people with low self esteem won’t make eye contact when they talk but teddy doesn’t strike me as a guy with low self esteem. Lol so I don’t really know why he does that. You really can’t help but to notice it tho when he talks for 15 minutes straight and never looks from staring at the table not once.

Stand in front of Teddy ready to fight, then see if he breaks eye contact. I've seen him take shots from guys that normally drop with one punch. Two or three punches later when he's still standing in front of them they show their true faces, bullies are cowards. I can't explain why he looks down on camera, but you'll never see that face to face.

I can explain it, he’s streaming his thoughts and it’s a lot easier when you are telling a story to not get on all the semantics of eye to eye conversation (which there’s a ton). Try it, it helps to focus and tell a better story.

Look at him right after the fight. canelo looked defeated. His corner looked defeated. Then look at a laughing and joking de la hoya. Fixed from the outset. All canelo had to do was stay standing.

@HM Fitness I said its getting worse and worse. Darren Till vs Woodley. The ref would separate Woodley every time he had underhooks. And the second times Woodley even got active with the knees but still was separated. Conor vs Khabib. Do I even need to say? Illegal knees, illegal elbows, grabbing gloves for 24seconds, grabbing the fence with the hands, grabbing the fence with the toes. Herb Dean didnt even warn him between rounds.

In all pro sports, football, basketball, baseball, etc. the teams have no choice but to play who ever the list mandates. Boxing needs a commission that has final say on who fights who and when. The way it is now is BS! Its embarrassing! This fighters list is made up of Crooks and Cowards! Make the fights or get the hell out! This Boxing system is a fraud! FIX IT!

What boxing needs is the same mandates all other sports have to live by! football, basketball, baseball, all have to play the teams put in front of them! Boxing should be the same way! As is, the sport has become a joke! Mandate matches or shut it down. Enough is enough?
