As far as Conor's claims of him being a snake, I thought that was just due to TJ jumping ship with his new coach at the time. TJ has insane talent and he is very intelligent. Cody is talented, but he isn't the sharpest marble in the bag. I think many (if not most) people don't realize the importance of IQ in fighting. A dumb jock will beat a frail genius, but at the UFC level everyone is highly talented, so the smarter fighter almost always wins. A lot of people were shocked when Rose, TJ and GSP not only won, but finished their opponents, while I expected (and predicted) them to win because they are clearly smarter and maybe more importantly, "humble". You have to be humble to admit (be honest) to yourself your weaknesses and short comings, so you can address them. Many people see that as a weakness, when really it is a sign of genuine strength and confidence. If someone (Donald Trump for example) needs to repeatedly tell you how strong they are, then they are clearly very weak and need to act tough to cover their inner doubt.
