According to what a quick google search showed me, this is one of the highest tetris scores on the gameboy in the world lmao
@AgentDoubleOOP Жыл бұрын
So cool that you thought to search this up (I hadn't because I figured it couldn't possibly be a world record), but sadly, you were probably looking up ORIGINAL Tetris scores, this is Tetris DX. A dude over here plays a 3-hour game which goes BEYOND the limit for the score, which is 9,999,999 points, and with 5,164 lines: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e4DKgqOdoNZjjaM So you actually can't get remotely close to the highscore without, essentially, going above the amount the game will count. That doesn't lessen how incredible Joe's playing is here, though. At 1,259,924 and 678 lines (and if the world-record's any estimate, this probably took him 20-30 minutes to get to)-- most people would be proud to get in the higher hundred-thousands, really. He's definitely in that upper echelon right before people who dedicate their whole life to it. He can proudly say he had Nintendo thumb, as his Tally Hall profile used to read.

joe carried the band. all of their best songs were written by him, and his solo projects are astronomically better than the stuff released under the tally hall name
@thewoodpeckers655 Жыл бұрын
@@409guzzlerthere are a lot of really great songs written by others that go pretty darn hard as well. For example, Good Day, The Trap, Fate of the Stars, are all just as incredible, but you are right in saying that when you think of tally hall, the first memory to come to mind is usually Joe.

This is the most relaxing video ever, it cheers me up so much to watch it... They had so much fun together.... Also very impressive tetris skills 😳 Joe Hawley does it again.... Reminds me of when I was really young and used to sit and watch my dad play on his computer. He was such a tech nerd. This video reminds me of those days.
