The song is amazing as is the video. ZZ is a very talented filmmaker. I love his work. I just can't wait for the new album. I have no words to describe what your music means to me, it's very deep and emotional and no other guitarist on this planet comes close at what you do. Long live Satch! The Master of the Art.

Joe, this is STELLAR first off. Second off I wanted to let you know how much your music and craft mean to me. My dad was a guitar player for 55 years and introduced me to your music. I was lucky enough to catch a show of yours with him before he passed. I didn't play guitar at this point but we had just found out he was sick (this was back in 2013 or so) and he let me know it was "Okay to sell his guitars", instead of that, I went out and bought my very first guitar (at about 30 years old) and had him begin to teach me to play while he still could. Long story short, he passed away in 2014 so I didn't get very many guitar lessons with him before he was too sick to play, BUT I am still playing today 7 years later. I am working on a few of your songs, and have actually ordered your signature guitar (which is basically my dream shred machine). I just wanted to say thanks for your music, and the fact that it brought my dad and I closer together, the fact that I get to play guitar, and that I get to hear your new tunes.

That's what I like about the Satriani style. Focus is emnotion, melody, not just trying to get as much out of technique and complexity. That's why I never truly got on board with Vai for example, his stuff is a little too complex for me personally, except for a couple of songs and the album with Townsend.

Joe was a pioneer in the early days of the internet, one of the few artists to have an active presence on the internet, he would often visits the forums on his page to reply fans and they would have petitions there for concert setlist wishlists for people who wanted to hear some of the more obscure tracks on tour. Then right before broadband internet started to become more common (2000/2001) he was already broadcasting LIVE and FOR FREE some of his concerts. After the streams ended the files would be made available as regular downloads, again for free. (it would take an entire week to download and it felt so exciting, the anticipation) So many awesome memories with Joe's songs, there's an album for each time in your life and each one is so varied from the other you can pick favorites back and forth. Nerdy memories, but we're all nerds if you really think about it. LOL Thanks, Joe \m/

As a musician I'm sad to say something died in me musically a long time ago. And it's the state which music has been in over the last 15 or so years. Suffice to say that this brought a glimpse of hope to the dream I once had of putting my music out there. Thanks Mr Satriani.

Just my opinion of course but along with Joe, I'd put SRV, David Gilmour, Steve Vai and a very underrated Alex Lifeson in that group. I know there are so many great guitarists and the debate for the greatest can be like a myriad of rabbit holes, however those are some of the tops on my list.
