The absolute peak of Country Soul. It simply never got any better then Mr. Tex. His work with Buddy Killeen will stand as testament to the what country music could and should have been for all of it's existence. A few got a shot to show what they could do in the field, but it was too short of a list.

I begged my Mother to give me the name of Mr. Tex because this song was HEAVY on my mind today. I grew up listening to this with my Grandmother. This song is a great lesson and it's timeless.
