By any measure, the O'Jays are one of the most important Soul Music groups of all-time. Whether delivering funky dance music, romantic ballads, or thoughtful social commentary in song

My hubby passed away on February 10,2022. We were married for more than 41 years, and we both respected what each of us liked differently, and we grew to appreciate who we were and melded that together. Everyone who knew us knew wherever he was at I was there too. It hurts to have that emptiness now, he's no longer there to say, "let's go here this weekend", or simply just take off which ever direction, we loved cruising the highways with our music. Walter William's voice remains one of the most 'calming voices' ever. He was just too smooth on this song with his handsome smiles. A huge classic! FOREVER MINE.
@KeithGrady-q5d Жыл бұрын
ur so right...I've put so many wrong words in songs while listening & singing along, but with Walter, his voice is so clear u'd almost havta be deaf to get the words wrong. My favorite group by far.

I watch this video almost every morning after I return from the gym. I’m 45 and I was brought up on this music. The choreography and dress of these handsome men remain unmatched today. And the lyrics of this song speaks to my soul. I hope to dance to this song on my wedding day. Or any day with my future husband. This is music. This is chivalry. These are the words of real men. #forevermine

This is the type of music that I like . All this new music is trash…. This is when artists cared about their music . They cared about their sound and image . The vocals the stage presence, the outfits , the instruments, the background vocals . Ughhhhh everything is amazing old school music soothes my soul .

There is NO ONE like the O'Jays, their music will last forever. Took my daughter to see them for the 1st time when she was 7 yrs. Old, she is in her 50's now and she loves their music. I listen to them and it brings back so many wonderful memories.
