when your wife leaves her boyfriend at the time because you asked her out and she already knows who you are...what can you expect other than her spending your money?

Stevey Irwin 5 months between him asking for her number and her breaking up with her bf. Two months after that, she gave him a call. Soooooo...

@@prototypeprofessor3747 Joe Thomas himself "I believe that was false (she obviously was trying to make herself look better) I called her a few days after. I think things were rapidly deteriorating at that time, you know - college boyfriends and girlfriends and all" ....if you're ever dating a broad and she gives a guy her real number when he asks her out for a romantic canoe ride, you probably shouldn't be too surprised when she dumps you and calls that guy who's number she saved for "7 months"...but yeah, goodluck with that, seriously.

He understands intuitively what a lot of people who end up doing well financially understand. It's ok to splurge every once in a while, but never live beyond your means. Always stay within your budget. You don't have to live "fancy" to live well.

Installing curtains for a common 2200 sq ft, single story house with ten exterior windows, can easily set a family back $1000. Joe Thomas's home is probably considerable larger. This proves that Mr. Thomas is indeed frugal.
@bobanderson66563 жыл бұрын
True. Per window, not that much. Considering how long the window treatments will last, buy once cry once....... Yes, I did that math with my wife for one window..

When someone didn't have to earn the money themselves and someone else basically gives them the keys to the vault, $1000 for curtains isn't a big deal.
@Jas_Flash925 жыл бұрын
Mark Sprinkle it is a big deal because the person that’s giving you the money, is still that persons money. regardless of who the fuck they are. I wouldn’t even spend $500 on curtains, not even $100 psh! Waste of fucking money honestly. I think u need to think deeper on life. I’d rather spend that much money on something USEFUL and reasonable. real men would not spend that much on bullshit. He needs to start being a man and learn how to say NO.

Home furnishing cost a lot and once your married they cost more. I have knew I needed a ten thousand dollar bathroom vanity or four thousand dollar light fixtures but my wife did. Every time we purchase things for the house the salesperson will look at me and I always tell them the same thing, I am only here because I have to be. I spend my money on tools, Mt bikes and skiing. We all have our things.

And it’s not about being cheap at all. It’s still ridiculous to this very day as to why ppl spend loads amounts of money on shit that’s not even worth that much or neee at all. you DONT need it. just buy shit u want and that’ll serve a purpose and you’ll have for a long time. ITS NOT ABOUT BEING CHEAP AT ALL. It’s called being smart and spending wisely, regardless of how much money you have. another huge problem ppl have. They like being followers and copycats.

I am an Interior Designer and own a furniture factory.. So, let me explain u why u spent 1000 bucks on curtains. Over last 10 years u have made millions of dollars.. But if u wud have continued living with same frugal life style, u wud have accumulated a lot and lot of money... Which is bad for country's economy.. When u purchased those curtains, u brought money back in the market, more businesses made profit, more employees get paid and eventually these employees purchased nfl ticket to watch u play.. So, dear sir, be happy ur curtains saved country's economy and nfl..

No you idiot. The money sitting in the bank gives that bank the ability to loan money to other people, to buy houses, to buy cars, to start businesses. He puts that money in the stock market or invests in Forex? That’s literally pumping money into the economy, You don’t understand the economic effects of investing at all of you think ‘holding money’ hurts the economy.
