Such a lovely film such a magnificent score, I bought the soundtrack many years a go and still listen to it regularly. I think Meg Ryan gave the best performances of her career in this so underrated gem, I guess most people just don't get it. Lucky us I say.

I loved this little gem of a movie Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan were wonderful and the music is wonderful too. They don,t make movies like this anymore. This has now become a modern classic

Listening to this while going through the final stages of cancer. Making sure my true love will be ok...dreaming of seeing her again.

Just the best. How could a silly, poorly-received film have such inspiring music... and such an inspiring message about remembering to live your life no matter how dreary things become...? Thanks for posting this... seems it doesn't matter how obscure my favorites are... someone on KZbin always comes through for me

Actually, how could one of the most misunderstood film masterpieces of the sound era have a beautiful score reminiscent of Borodin's Symphony No. 2? Oh perhaps because all of the people involved in this movie were really intelligent.

One of the best soundtracks ever written. Period.

I don't think this was a silly movie at all as one comment said. The story line of working a meaningless job, having a death diagnosis making the decision to live life at its' best and fullest and the meaning of how we end it. It is a wonderful story; the music was a bonus. I have the movie and never get tired of watching it. Personally I thought it was one of Tom's best. Meg was great too.

Thanks so much - I love this music - the modern great composers are discreetly hidden in movie sountracks!

Beautiful music. Enchanting. My wife was re-telling me about how she saw Tom Hanks on the set for this movie when she was visiting her cousin in California who works for MGM. Tom was standing on a balcony looking down at them. She wishes that she would have spoken to him. So I said "Let me check KZbin for that balcony scene". Haven't found it yet, but in the mean time I'm enjoying this soundtrack music that you posted....THANKS

MAGNIFICENT MUSCI! I wish I could locate the soundtrack...it cost a fortune if you can find it. I would be thrilled with just a copy of it!

It may have been filmed, but like a lot of movies they cut it for different reasons.
