I've seen many bands over the years from Sabbath to Slade to Maiden to Skynyrd and Joe's show last year in St Albans just before lockdown was one of the best I ever had the privilege of seeing. It's because of him I took up the uke! Give the man a knighthood he's earned it more than most who get one!

I'm Italian so I didn't know him Till I got interested in the music by George Harrison and I discovered this guy always next to George Who was a very good ukulele player. But when I watched the concert for George held in London in 2002 to celebrate George's life and music it was Joe Brown to play and sing Here Comes the Sun but Adobe all it was he who closed the concert singing " I'll see you in my dream"and playing a superb ukulele making the audience cry. Absolutely amazing! I fell in love with him.

Unbelievable talent - I am 70 years old and heard him do stuff when I was very young - he did a song ‘ I’m Henry the eight I am’ His personality came over and he is a smoker - the most certain sign of wisdom is a continued cheerfulness. That is Joe. Oh , by the way - he is so talented. He play many instruments and his voice is kind of soothing and is like home cooking. Joe I watched you many times over the years. And I saw you sell your Morgan car on the telly. It made me laugh when you said you had to sell it because you couldn’t get out of it. You could!! But I had a sports car and took the same route and sold it. I have a warm feeling when I hear you play. Thanks buddy😀
