I've been following this case very closely for weeks. The story behind the story that no one is talking about is how they put a target on his back and were determined to get him on something, any thing. Everybody played their part - the accuser, the cops who helped her come up with the strangulation charge (which was disappeared), the DA who is going after high profile black men (check out the Adam Foss and Kevin Porter cases) with weak cases, the press who have been mischaracterising this case from the jump (remember the 40 other accusers they reported on? All magically disappeared). The judge, who wouldn't let the cop who arrested Jabbari for assaulting Majors get a word in. And the jury of six, which had only one black member (a woman).

It's the DA. The DA has a "believe all women" mindset when it comes to these things and has said that he will bring all domestic violence cases to trial regardless of the evidence and let the jury decide. I believe he does that because of just as they said earlier in the video, when there is a jury anything can happen because even things that you didn't even think are illegal can be a crime because a lot of the laws have a very broad definition which lead to a lot of guilty verdicts.

Its crazy how much a man has to do or go through to prove his innocence. Looking at the Depp V Heard case he literally had to take his time accumulating incidences where she was abusive and present it all in court, but before all of this when she accused him of abuse he lost so many roles and deals and partnerships he worked so hard for over the years and even made those franchises as popular as they were. Its crazy bc we literally got to see how being prepared for all of this when dealing with a woman like that makes such a difference. If Majors had recorded his incidents with her in any capacity his trial would probably would’ve ended differently

Unfortunately, he learned a hard lesson it was too many parts working against him in that case. From this to what Taraji has said. Monique said years ago. What Gabrielle Union has said, what Viola has said, what Halle said years ago about HOLLYWOOD. We can keep talking about the injustice system in our country and some of Hollywood entities, but the truth is, WE have the talent, ability and the money to create our own Hollywood. See people wanna joke about now you have to go do a Tyler Perry film blah blah, but Tyler did what no other black entertainer had done. Not only did he start from the bottom from just writing and performing plays using intellect to target his community and issues within our community and translate it on stage, but then to movies and then a completely huge Studio of his own. What he did was created a small black Hollywood and to add in a place that became the hottest mecca for us and others to film and that is Georgia. There are some shows that were very hot that used his studio and I'm not talking about just black films and TV. So don't say he has to go over to TP as if that is a DOWNPLAY. Yes, Hollywood and those entities are big and their projects are big around the world reaching mass of people outside this country, but we can do it and even better and that is the issue people need to be talking about. Our complaints can turn into solutions that we can provide for ourselves. If everybody just come together and simply do it. It's so many people sitting on millions and have influence even outside of film. Though we can do ourselves, there are also white millionaires and billionaires who will support us because they understand our fight is not about being racist. It isn't about overtaking and oppressing anyone. It's just about us providing for ourselves in a bigger way. We can create our black wall street again but even wider, it just about us starting it all together and doing it together first. I think support from others will come after who are just genuine.

Joe is right. EVERYTHING is on trial. How he carries himself. He brought another female with him to court while fighting against a ex on a domestic incident. It even made his now woman Megan Goode look bad. Now she's looked at as the other woman who caused the whole situation to happen. That's probably not true, but the looks.

He was RAILROADED. They knew he could be one of them guys and a guy they couldn’t control so they cut his arse down before he got to big. When does a Misdemeanor go to TRIAL. Hell the MAN RAN!!!!!!!! The WOMAN CHASED HIM and he STILL GET CHARGED!!!!! I knew a guy a high school that passed a polygraph test due to being accused of rape and he passed and they told his ppl that can not be told in court. THE TRUTH CANT be told. Now Majors will never reach the plateau that he was aligned to be on.

The issue is Jonathan chose to take it to trial. This was a case of a black man being on trial for being with a yt woman. I am not sure but it appears that he was trying to avoid being prosecuted in the court of public opinion. Either way, he would have lost out cause lets face it, all it takes is an accusation for a person to lose everything.

He did not convicted of beating a woman!! Why do people with no law degrees talk about stuff they know nothing about? Your u could technically get convicted of recklessly assaulting someone by tripping them on the sidewalk. Or imagine moving someones chair before they sit and they fall and hurt themselves.
@eastafrika72810 ай бұрын
The ruling in the Major's case was contradictory, if he was not guilty, then should be on all counts, recklessness is not a crime, any other judge would dismiss the charges. I think the judge was mad that Majors said that the white girl should rise up to the level of Coretta Scott King and Michelle Obama.
