Smashing Land Speed Records | Transport Fever 2 | East Yorkshire | Episode 9

Hello and welcome back to Transport Fever 2!
Today we're back in East Yorkshire where time has advanced since we last saw each other! The year is now 1950 and along with time advancing, we've also seen a massive improvement on the technology and vehicles available to us. Today we're going to be implementing some of that new technology, and replacing some of our oldest vehicles.
We're also going to look at how we can better connect the city of Hull. Apparently back in the day, Hull played host to a tram network (as did most British cities), so why on earth haven't we got a Hull tram network?! Maybe it'll be a good revenue earner, maybe it'll be a vanity project who knows!

You can stop one of the trains in a terminus station, wait until the other train reached the other terminus station, and then let the stopped train go. That’s what I do sometimes and it works well enough

Add bus lanes on the 4 lane road, that way the cars won’t block the buses

Best way to space the trains out would be to stop one of them manually and then when they are far enough apart to restart them

You need a railway to barton on humber across the humber!! And you need to build a humber bridge. Also a york to beverly line through the towns and into hull that way? Nice little stopping service. Need to make more use of Yorks big station.

Hi Joe great video loving this series. In Hull mabe to cut gridlock on your buses coming out of the bus station give them different bus stops so there not all stopping at the same stop might be worth a try

I just provide the ideas i don’t necessarily say they will work or can be held to account as the disclaimer says use at your own risk 😜😂😂😂😂 There was a boom of tower block building in the 60’s in Hull they slapped them up everywhere! Its a shame as when it got into the 2000’s they started knocking them down and many disappeared from the skyline which is a shame as many people enjoyed living in them
