Each island of the Canary Islands has something nice to see, but after visiting them all Tenerife is the one that has the most variety and offer, both in terms of landscape and leisure. It is the largest island of the archipelago and the most populated of the Canary Islands and Spain. It has the highest peak in the country that is inside the El Teide National Park, which is also a World Heritage Site and the most visited park in the country and one of the largest in Europe. San Cristóbal de La Laguna is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was the first capital of the Canarian archipelago. Also in Tenerife is located the first tourist city of the Canary Islands, Puerto de La Cruz. The Anaga Natural Park was recently declared a World Biosphere Reserve and has one of the few Laurisilva forests remaining in the world and where the largest amount of endemic species in Europe is collected. In Tenerife you can find the oldest dragon tree in the world and one of the oldest trees in the country with almost a thousand years of existence. The Siam Park water park and the Loro Parque Zoological Park have been chosen as the best in the world in their category. Hundreds of trails take you through its mountains, valleys, forests, volcanoes and beaches. In it you can find a piece of all the other islands. If you plan to visit the Canary Islands and do not know which Tenerife will undoubtedly be your best choice.

Thank you very much for the compliments - no Ice, I swear! ;-) Just clouds a few hunderet meters over the ocean with orange light from La Orotava below them. Even without the timelapseeffect a great scenery and at an altitude of 1800-2000m it's fantastic quite - there are really some magical spots on this island!
