R.I.P Chester, his death affected me deeply for so many reasons. I will never forget the video clip of him saying his head was a bad neighborhood and he doesn't need to be in there. It resonated. 😢

Linkin Park was my go to band back in the late 90's. I went to Ozzfest in 2001 and met the band and got their autograph which still hangs on my wall framed to this day. It broke me when he passed. I stopped listening to music for a very long time. Everything seemed off in that time....that was until I heard Twenty One Pilots and fell in love. Irony is that Chester was a huge TOP fan. Now Linkin Park is back and on tour I've got VIP tickets to see them in late August and I'm bringing my daughter to see them for her first concert. It's amazing how things full circle and mirror. I have never truly felt numb but am compassionate to those who did or do still. This song is deep because it is a true story for so many people. I wish everyone could be at peace with themselves. As a kid, I was permitted to dance to my own beat. I didn't trend with friends. My life is full of history and experience, stories shared, a legacy for those I will leave behind, and museum archives for those who find me. Accept me as I am or dwell outside my intimate circle. It allows me one less birthday to remember. I am 62 and retired, and acceptance is not on my happiness scale. My life is my own. My soul is well. My heart content.

I was the high school art student and loved this music video when I first saw it. I also struggled with self-esteem A LOT back then. So yea, this video was great, it and the song really connected.

Linkin Park is how I got into Twenty One Pilots. This song broke me down and put me back together. Being a preteen going through a number of diagnosis stemming from dissociation and feeling numb..it was life saving to know I was not alone. We miss you Chester 💔 rip 🪽

Hi Joe, just little fact - shot on the begging (girl on bridge) is Charles Bridge in Prague. Actually I was standing with my parents like 100m away from this bridge when they recorded it. In that time I had no idea one of most impactful songs of century is getting recorded next to me.

It breaks my heart that hes been replaced. Not because they needed a new vocalist, or that she's a female. Couldn't care less. She is a scientologist , though - who doesn't believe in mental health and considers psychiatry the highest evil on Earth, to mention the main points. Scientologists also believe if you're SA'd (as Chester was as a child) you "pulled that in" aka "brought it on yourself." That breaks me more than anything. This song helped save me. Over and over.
