twenty one pilots never tackle a dark subject without providing hope as well. Tyler makes music so we will stay alive and remember that life has a hopeful undertone.

The older I get the harder this hits. I've struggled with ideations of suicide through out my life. Now that I am almost 60 I'm so glad that I had people around to help and support me in my struggles and I feel it's my responsibility to be there for others.

"I didn't know I needed them", talking about your emotions. You'll need them for pretty much every single TOP song out there. They are a truly remarkable band.

That’s the difference between tøp & mostly everyone else… They dive into the heavy thoughts but always always provide the hope to deal with them….. they arent whining about their situation or blustering, they are saying we feel it, we understand but here, here’s a way you can find something to keep going.

This song is so important. We do as a society glorify celebrities that take their own lives, while at the same time putting blame on non famous people when they make the same choice. The "promise me this, if I lose to myself, you won't mourn a day and you move onto someone else" is ruins me. I know why he wants us to just move on because he doesn't want us glorifying his action, but man. Does it just break my heart every time I hear it.

What makes TOP so vitally important, to me, is that not a single word or note of their music is ever wasted. They don't just want us to listen, they want us to actually think and talk about what they're saying, and listen to the subtleties of the melodies they're creating. They're like Michaelangelo, except with music instead of a paintbrush, and it really is something special!

Been waiting for this. The S word doesn’t need to be present for the point to be made. Another song that saves lives. Tyler and Josh stood up to the label on this one and I understand why. I am grateful they did.

Like I've been saying, one of my absolute favorites. It might not be a banger like their other stuff but it's important. We need to celebrate people while they're here. We shouldn't have to lose them to realize what we had.

GOOSEBUMPS. EVERY TIME. Thanks for the heartfelt reaction, Joe. (Don't ya love how Tyler and Josh just punch you straight in the feels?) I just returned from my MIL's funeral. My grief is still huge. This song reminds me to be grateful for the moments and memories my children and I will cherish forever. Love you and miss you, Grandma B.

The music, the lyrics and the vocals are incredible. You can't help but feel the pain -- "feel" the music. The first few times I heard this song, it brought me to tears. It is so powerful.

I love the fact that you are doing a deep dive into TØP. This song is so powerful and helps to explain why the battle against the Bishops is so crucial. The neon gravestones represent the glorification of those who decide to end it. It was a message Tyler fought hard to share. Tyler and Josh were very close to their grandfathers. So much so that two of them appear on the cover of Vessel, their first studio release. One of the reasons I’m so drawn to both TØP and Ren are the messages of hope and encouragement they include even in some of their darkest songs.

For someone like me who deals with these thoughts daily and had a brother committed suicide, this song brings me to tears every time I hear it. I love how TWP has hope in all his songs. Migraine and Car Radio are the two songs that resonate with me deeply.

I have just noticed that the one of the sections of the gravestones in the visualiser has 8 gravestones, and the other 3 sections has 9 gravestones. Just had to share that because I have noticed it before. This song is one of the most powerful songs I have ever heard, and I think it helped me get off the death of my grandmother.

So glad to be back and I've been waiting for your take on this one! Just this last week someone so sweet was taken too soon due to their anguish and personal suffering, I really appreciate TØP for releasing tracks like this, which spark much needed conversations. Much love, light and healing to anyone struggling.

Whenyou get the chance, you should do 'Trapdoor', then 'Friend, Please' off the self titled album. Specifically in that order. In my opinion, the songs are a pair, and act as a sort of call and response. Trapdoor telling a story about a person, and Friend, Please is a third party responding to The person in Trapdoor. The two songs make for an absolute emotuinal gut punch.

Love this reaction. I saw your emotions coming out. This song is such an important message for all of us but it is very hard for me to listen to casually. Just like redecorate.
