I can't believe you made the connection to My Blood before the sample even showed up, your understanding of the story in just a few weeks of watching their videos is really impressive. I've been a fan of them for years and still don't understand some of the lore. I always wondered why Josh was in Saturday and after since Nico only grabbed Tyler at the end of Levitate. wasn't until the end of this video that I realized lol then Tyler explaining it during the video reveal night.

Now you understand why it was important to watch My Blood 😼 The TØP journey has so many layers and everything is connected in some fashion across all of the albums. My understanding is that Tyler has been “alone” since the end of Levitate, when he was recaptured. But Josh (as the torchbearer) has the power to help Tyler navigate through his journey. Josh is always there watching and guiding Tyler, even though not physically with him. Although it’s hard to see Josh vanish while Tyler is singing about how everybody leaves 😿 My favorite is still Routines in the Night, but I absolutely love this video! Especially the twist. I’m excited about the TØP livestream! I’m so glad you will be seeing them live. You will not be disappointed!

Tyler told us in the recent Livestream that the Torchbearer, the charachter Josh plays in the Lore, has the ability to guide, and that the Torchbearer has a 'triangular existance' and that the Bandito Torchbearer is the real one. Bearing in mind these guys are Christians this seems to confirm a further layer to the Lore, for those who wish to see it through that lens.

To answer the question: YES, this is very much my favorite Clancy track, and it's lived rent free in my head since the album dropped! Josh's drumming is always amazing, but it's next level on this one, and Tyler's bass playing is absolutely bonkers. Not to mention how we all screamed like a banshee at that end reveal! 😯

vulnerability, honesty, mental health and incredible creativity... tøp (along with ren and nf) have really raised the bar. i can’t tell you have many important conversations with my 8 year old these songs have inspired. i also really like that right when you expect the the chorus to kick in, it’s delayed by a drum fill… then “pardon my delay”… a small thing but very clever. great reaction… it helps me too as my kid and i are still trying to navigate all the lore. x

So to explain. We haven't seen the real Josh since Levitate. Real Josh is the torch bearer, so only when he's his bandito outfit, that's the real Josh. In all of Scaled and Icy, Josh was not there, even during the live stream show that u saw for Shy Away. For that livestream, there r breaks where Tyler/Clancy gets interviewed and they r sitting there mocking him about josh saying "where is josh? Josh come out!" And he never does. Which is why I have my theory that for that livestream and live concerts they had the band, because josh was imaginary

I always feel a bit spoiled when you post Twenty One Pilots videos multiple days in a row. ❤ Personally, from a spiritual point of view… I see these three banditos who greet Tyler and escort him to the other banditos as being symbolic of the Holy Trinity leading him to others in order to work together to fight evil. You’ve got two of them that look like father and son, and the other has his face covered, for the Holy Spirit who is more often represented as a dove or as fire. Speaking of fires… there are three raging infernos behind Tyler as he is singing the whole time, until the end, when the camera pulls back and we only see one massive fire, 3 in 1. Josh, the torch bearer is a kind of Guardian Angel character… who is there helping Tyler/Clancy out , but is hidden.

This video would come after the end of Overcompensate- they are "Navigating" their way to Dema for the final confrontation that should be coming in PS later today! Tyler said in the livestream the only "real" Josh is the torchbearing Josh that is the bandito (yellow) If you pay close attention when they're walking past the water- you can see everybody's reflection as they walk past except Josh

Hands down my fave on the album. He's describing my own mental health so it feels very personal to me. I also love the sound of it, being in my 40's it reminds me of the stuff I loved in the 80s New Wave scene. Another great reaction, I hope you are gunna check out a concert on this tour. Yes, and I assume we all came to the conclusion. I believe that the last time Tyler was actually physically with Josh was levitate. In the live stream Tyler said that Josh 's. Character's name is torchbearer and that he actually has an ability as well and I think The ability is to project yourself and help guide the way. So technically if this is true, Josh was never there in person but he was in spirit with Tyler. And Tyler was the only one who was able to see him in the the live stream from scaled and Icy at one point the interview people kind of mocked Tyler about this. I can't remember her exact words but I it was basically her calling out to Josh being like where is he hiding and stuff like that
