Question for ya: I'm going to be fencing in my front yard soon. I also want to have a gate installed that connects to my fence, or at least looks like it does...not sure how that works but anyway, my question is - can I have the fence and gate installed at separate times (because of cost)? What needs to be done to the fence to prepare for a gate, if anything? Or is a gate a separate entity from the fence and can be installed, as long as there is an appropriate sized space for the gate?
