John 3:16-21 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Mark 1.15 15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Hebrews 11:6 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Jesus

Do Northern Sudanese actually still view the South as brethren? I know there’s a religious and racial divide (north is mostly Muslim, south is mostly Christian, and south more black too), but aren’t north/south divides just an artificial colonial line rather than something meaningful? I do wonder what the relationship between both sides have been since independence in 2011… with that said, “regular” Sudan has its own crisis going on now unfortunately… hope you and your family are okay . Salaam from USA
@MohammedTouly153 ай бұрын
@@DanielEdelstein-e9t I don't know if north Sudanese people consider south Sudanese as brethren, though I do know that it's probably all political conflict and that the people are fine with living with each other as long as everyone obeys the law. Me personally I still consider south Sudanese brethren as they are Sudanese and pretty much everything they do is the same as what I used to do in Sudan besides the fact that most of them are Christian and I am Muslim. Fortunately, I am in the US as well. I just have never seen the south Sudanese and I truly feel sorry for all the people struggling there and I can't even begin to describe the feeling of people in the North, though fortunately my family in the north are able to sustain themselves without relying on the economy. Watching this video from the UK we take so many things for granted like we’re able to go to the kitchen and have access to water and a lot of other countries don’t have that luxury. We should be very grateful for what we have and appreciate everything. Thank you very much for making this video Joe. It’s open my eyes to the world.

6:25 That's what it can be like living in Africa sometimes. I live in Ghana and law enforcement is not paid much. As a result, they abuse their power sometimes so that they can get bribes, especially if they notice that you're a foreigner. If you don't pay them, they probably won't do their job to protect you. You can also easily pay them off to leave you alone. I could see the frustration in your voice, Joe. I've been in that position many times before. It's just how it is here sometimes
@dietlindvonhohenwald4483 ай бұрын
extortion and bribery is a crime in itself, so the police themselves are just criminals/gangsters.

This made me so grateful to my life as an African teen. My family left Nigeria when In grade one for a better life. Little did I know that we were quite privileged over there compared to lots of kids in Africa. We lived in a pretty wealthy neighborhood and went to a really good school. And I don’t remember much from Nigeria. I will really love to go back and give to the community. It’s been years 😢
