​@@JiV-c1g xbox seems to be winning to me... great looking first party games this year, company making money with used market value, confirmation that all act blizzard releases going forward will be day one gamepass launches, and also confirmation that gamepass xcloud is going to be upgraded this year to allow all owned games to be playable... as opposed to playstation currently ..zero first party games till almost mid of next year, announces they arnt making enough money losing 10 billion in market value, announces they are bringing more things to pc and other platforms for more money, confirmed their vr headset is now going to work on pc, and now them laying off tons of workers closing studio and canceling games....

As a person who still plays cod and is hyped for the warzone mobile to release, i agree XD Although yeah after mw19 shit has gone downhill. Battlebit remastered is my new fave for a while now, and ive been enjoying cyberpunk 2077 and even northstar (titanfall 2). There are amazong gems out there, ignoring twitter is the best we can do 😂

You CAN'T judge Xbox's influence on CoD's upto and including MWIII (2023) becuase they didn't own ABK at that point and MWIII(2023) was pretty much done by the time the ABK deal was closed. Now you CAN judge Xbox's influence on CoD's from 2024's onwards because they now own ABK and in turn the CoD IP and as for people crying over the lack of PS exclusive content keep in mind that Microsoft literally CANNOT have exclusive content of ANY kind on ANY platform due to the deals they have signed promising content and feature parity with ALL platforms.

Especially when PlayStation perks for COD ranged from an exclusive skin here and there to *permanent XP boosts and extra skips* for people playing on PlayStation. PS users got a genuine pay to win advantage for buying COD on their platform. Why would anyone unironically be in favor of that?

The last time I thought platform-specific exclusive content was a good thing was Soul Calibur 2. It was cool but as I grew older I realized that too many people were left out of playing with good shit. Soul Calibur was such a good franchise.

10:01 this guy is actually almost correct, CoD was an exclusive Xbox game in the very beginning. I think it went multiplatform with #3 or 4 but definitely multiplatform by MW2. In fact CoD was considered “less than” Medal of Honor at that time, for good reason too.

If you only take the additional costs of online play on xbox (game pass core) to online play and all games on offer for console and PC and Co (game pass ultimate), it is the price of the game for about 8 months, depending on the country. If you don't take any offers or anything else. So it pays off. Hopefully it's understandable despite the translator.

I think COD getting all maps, booster packs, and crap on all platforms is a good thing. It's like if one day, Freaking Konami decided to give SBR2 players all of the exclusive Bombers for the PS4 version of SBR1 & all of the exclusive Bombers for the Xbox One version of SBR1 on all 4 platforms. You know what I really love about pc gaming? As an old fart of 36 years who was stuck with fast pacing shooter, online shooters and racing games when gotten into pc gaming, I haven´t really played any game of that type in the past 10 years, too stressfull to play after work and just not relaxing as gaming is suppose to be. I swaped genres and what really help me transitioning genres was something pretty much impossible on consol: trainers. Some call it cheating to me it is helping me figuring out the game mechanics without getting killed before I can figure anything out, I´m not 14 anymore and have tonns of spare energy when coming home; school isn´t work. But that´s how I kept my gaming spark alive for 20 years, if a genre doesn´t feel fun anymore just try another genre. I only played strategy and RPGs on LANs back than but never by myself, nowadays it´s different.

iirrc CoD 2024 aka "Black Ops Gulf War" is the first CoD in years that probably has a 4 year development cycle, generally Treyarch doesnt dissapoint and while Cold War was bad, the general consensus was that it was better than BO4 and BO3, i really hope that CoD 2024 is good, or at least as good as Cold War

Like Hogwarts Legacy, i think the mission became/will become available soon, but i barely remember most of the game at all, besides going "revellio " all over the place.

I don't know why but I find the Late Stage Console War really amusing. There's a very obvious writing on the wall that consoles (or at least consoles as we know it) are on their way out yet there are still people more than ready to keep clinging onto their precious brand rivalry. Even if Sony and Microsoft both announce that they won't be releasing any more consoles, there will still be last two fanboys battling it out in the comments, just like Dark Souls 3's last two undead fighting over the last soul at the end of times.
